    The way Boyd is talking the last few weeks I’m pretty sure he’s been told to undermine Beale. The unfortunate thing about this result is that Beale us closer to the exit door.

    *waddell did the same tae davie white while he was a columnist with the express, he was a very good manager with the bully wee who took the lions tae 2 games in the SC and also Dundee where his side managed tae beat us in the LC, but just NOT good enough for the baying huns.

  2. Anyways.

    Enjoy that win as we won’t be back there this season.

    They are not top six by the split

  3. St Stivs 4.59pm

    That would be hilarious …

    But shoorly Bealesy can make the top 6 in the Spl after spending millions & millions on players … if you get a chance listen to his interview on sky sports … hilarious … refers to Kyogo as the “boy who took the chance” he is an impostor … totally suited to the Huns

    We should be delighted we have a professional fitba manager in charge of our club … and not Arfur Daleys sidekick

  4. Europe is our attention?

    I appreciate it will take mair than wan Season.

    I’m low standards, Hopefully Brendan, he husnae been backed

    Funny how all the new posters from last weekend are noticeable by their absence. I guess they must all have been at the game.

    Europe can wait

    Enjoy today ….

    We need to win in Scotland to get to Europe

    Brendan had some record against the new Huns, long may it continue

  7. CQN is a very entertaining Celtic blog and it’s compulsory reading for me. A minority of contributors are persistently critical of the club and its various layers of management. For them, cretins control the club. The cretins, in turn, are in thrall to a malevolent psychopath.

    These critics are perfectly entitled to their opinions. The blog should, of course, reflect the full spectrum of fan opinion. The question is however: what do they do on a day like today? Can they experience any joy?

    I’ll be totally honest and say I’m glad I was unable to post when I saw the line up for it would not have been very optimistic.

    Massive credit to all today. Assuming we get key players back from injury and the new guys bed in, that will be the most challenging domestic fixture of the season.

    Aye , noticed that on Beale’s interview . Couldn’t say the word ‘Kyogo’ just like he can’t say ‘Celtic’ when he calls us the ‘other team’ . A hopeless and insecure character .

    Var disallowed Alfie’s goal remember

    ———————————————

    Kevin Clancy disallowed it 👍

  11. For some reason Brendan’s comments reminded me of the inherent dichotomy in that old song by Frankie Valli,

    “Walk like a Man”

    “Talk like a Man”

    Whilst singing in a high pitched voice

    Or am ah just too old school?

  12. VAR did not disallow Rangers’ early offside goal. The assistant referee delayed raising his flag until the move was over, as per instructions. As soon as the ball hit the net, it was flagged offside.

  13. Remember there was more stuff thrown at our players today,the ref handed it to the 4th official think it was a lighter the authorities need to act against this club.

  14. From the beararsed pit

    An absolute embarrassment today from start to finish.I have defended Beale and Dessers right up to yesterday.Unfortunately it has taken today to see what others said from the start.Dessers is useless and Beale doesn’t have a clue what he is doing.

    ========

    Absolutely gutless and clueless across the park. We can’t string two passes together. Cantwell & Raskin are a shadow of how they played the tail end of last season.

    A defence that’s bottled it repeatedly over the past few seasons.

    Look at their bug eyed jump the dyke captain in the refs ear at even the least possibility of a call going against them yet ours is nowhere to seen.

    There’s no press on the opposition, no tempo in our attack and no dig or fight in that team. Even at set pieces there’s no movement or desire to take the ball & we take an eternity doing everything.

    Beale has to go. He’s so far out his depth the RNLI should be rocking up to Ibrox.

    The only positive today was the tifo which was utterly superb. If only our players showed that level of commitment and desire.

    ==========

    I’ve been taking a step back from going to games since the Hivs game before Christmas last season so my grandsons had been getting a few freebies,He just came in and threw my smartcard down and said he doesn’t need it he won’t be back,Not a happy Bear.

    ===========

    I think i’ve been more than patient with Beale and our serial losers but today was probably the last straw.A shite weakened beggar team and yet we will need to listen to the usual shite from Tav and Beale that we need to learn from that and do better.The pish that’s churned out every time that we had a full new team basically having to bed in etc. Its time to get our heads round it 8 of the team yes 8 of them were here last season started today and we can’t afford to let it go on much longer or we will be the same as last season leaving it too late to replace our manager.I’m afraid Beale and his team are not going to take us to the next level.

    =====

    I applauded them back, I would never boo Rangers, I accept though that others have a right, but not after a game against the scum. Gave them plenty to feed off. Support was poison from 25 minutes in. Didn’t need an away support ours did the job for them. We “played” worse than the team.

    Sad to see the fans fight with each other,its the players and management that deserve a slap.

  15. Thanks Bognor for the hun fan quotes – the following caught my eye:

    Sad to see the fans fight with each other,its the players and management that deserve a slap.

    To which I say, steady, there’s probably enough slaps to go round 😉

  16. That our first goal in front of no celtic fans at Ibrox ?

    Absolutely bizarre. Goal – pin drop – have we? – delay – celebrate.

    A PERFORMANCE THAT WAS UP THERE WITH McGRAIN BROWN n MCSTAY…..FEKIN BRILLIANT

  18. There were some Celtic supporters there.

    Neil . Chris. Faddy. The staff and the board.

    I wonder if these east enclosure bears spent the time watching NFL for him celebrating.

    That bigger stronger physical team sue dominated us.

    It’s the Monikers that don’t have the good grace to come back on when we win, that are worth the

    watching 👍

  20. Brendan lined us up with Bull pushing up onto Tavpen side which sort of pinned Tavpen back , also he had one eye on Maeda.

    Nothing down the Hun left whatsoever.

    SPL standard not the greatest but the managers aren’t stupid and will see how we pressed up on the Rangers right flank , forcing the long punt.

    No width in the Hun side which with a Scottish winter to play through will result in a lot of punts , second ball scrambles, dropped points.

    Thought our centre backs movement and passing was miles better than last week and this allowed Calum more into the game.

    Beale dropping Roofe back at the start of the second half to counter Calum was inexplicable, Roofe is possibly the laziest player in Scottish football.

    Suspect we’ll be about 10 or 12 clear by Christmas.

    HH

  21. Ekbhoy – to your closing point, let’s say for a minute that we are 12 points clear by New Year, if the gap is bigger for the Paddy’s game in March, will there be empty seats at Ibrokes?

    Oh, the irony….

    And of course White got the tin tack and Waddell got the job.

    Can only hope history repeats itself with Boyd.
