Cantwell is a bluffer. I knew it the first time I saw him.

But on the pitch, where the truth is on show…… he is a coward with limited ability.

Good evening all from the Queens Park Cafe. I may celebrate today for quite some time. Come down to the Shipbank this Friday at midday and help an old guy rejoice in another thrashing of the hun. You can never have enough good times. 👍

I have to admit to a pro Irish bias. I always want Irish lads to do better and sometimes I can be guilty of understating their weakness’s.
I believe Scales has quality.
I feared for his physical strength, but he used his brain to overcome any shortfalls today. He won headers, tackle and never panicked.
He has a tasty left foot and maybe his place is in midfield?
Delighted for him today.

Thanks Tom McLaughlin for the invite to Kittys today. Sorry we didn’t get to meet each other. Great venue for me to enjoy the first time I have seen us win at Ibrox, when I wasn’t there in person, since 1971. Really good Celtic people and company on a special occasion.
Loads to call out, in a positive sense, about today.
For me top of the list is Scales. The mental fortitude to stare down those so called Celtic fans who abused and derided him last week and could have shattered any ordinary players confidence. He had more critique all week as everyone salivated over a replacement ignoring that we didn’t concede last week and that he has a good record v rangers for Aberdeen.
Then this morning on here and many other blogs folk like Denia and A dun were talking of switching off today.
Liam had to go out in front of 50000 seething rangers supporters and perform like a Trojan. He did that and more. Mental fortitude and bravery. Not just of of the men Brendan asked for but a really brave one.
I do hope some have the humility to acknowledge and think before they criticize so easily.
Of course many of the negation posters missing tonight are at George square, or on the square.
Great Celtic times. Thanks again Tom.

I was down in Mobile Alabama, coaching this weekend against a team that used to be called Gulfcoast Rangers, and we’re officially affiliated with Thems up until last year. I didn’t want to pile on with negative comments. I then went home from work and my boy, with his new Kyogo no.8 top, told me to get the game on. 💚
I think my comments throughout the game were fair and supportive. I did say Lagerbielke was having a poor game in the first half which I stand by.
I was wrong to expect a defeat, no problem admitting to that.

Great waking full of the joys after that gritty and combative win.
I always felt Liam would give us heart and a bit of the fly shithousery that’s so effective when they’re trying to bully us. Liam was having none of it. He bumped, hassled, slid, tugged and dug his way into their attackers – hopefully giving Gus an on-the-job induction session. He’s mibby not world class yet, but he was all class v THEM: Delighted for Liam AND Big Joe. Cal. Matty. Wee Daizen worked his boz aff too ;)

Hopefully an indicator for how Brendan intends to approach the up and coming CL from yesterday, cagey and play on the break what was the way that MON, WGS, NFL, got us respectable results in days gone by.
The way to counter any team `parking the bus` against us is to counter attack by playing long with a runner up front.
No slur on our wingers but how many crosses per game do they put into the box? St Johnston blocked our wide players a few weeks ago resulting in a performance which was greeted by boos from our own fans.
If you pay at the gate you are entitled to voice your opinion.
Kyogo had one ball to run onto and use his great pace yesterday and he scored, so not utilising that unplayable pace of Kyogo is rather stupid in my opinion.
Home – AND – away in the CL if our Ibrox tactics are deployed then we can get some results.
