MARTIN O’NEILL is convinced Celtic will get their money’s worth from record signing Kasper Hogh.
The Danish international striker sealed his £11million-plus switch from Bodo/Glimt yesterday and is standing by to make his Hoops debut when the club’s Premiership bid kicks off against Dundee at Parkhead on Monday evening.
A sell-out crowd for the champions’ FOURTEENTH Flag Day in the past 15 years is assured with Hogh likely to team up with the club’s other summer recruit, Camilo Duran, the £5.5million arrival from Qarabag earlier this month, in a new-look attacking spearhead.

O’Neill has welcomed the purchase of the 6ft-plus Dane whose four-year deal plus 12-month option contract eclipses the previous highest buy, £11million midfielder Arne Engels who joined from Bundesliga side Augsburg in August 2024.
The Irishman, speaking to the Celtic website, said: “I am delighted that Kasper has joined us.
“He is a player of real quality with a good level of experience of domestic and European competition.
“Kasper is a goalscorer, but also has a lot more to his game and I am sure our fans will like the way he plays.
“The club has done so well to secure a player of this quality and I am sure that Celtic and Kasper will be a really good match.
“We look forward to introducing Kasper into the squad as we build towards the start of the season.”
Coincidentally, Celtic will learn their Champions League play-off opponents on Monday, just hours ahead of the launch for a sixth successive title with the opener against the Dens Park outfit.
