Kilmarnock are unbeaten across five League Cup and three league games this season, although all the latter ended in draws (home to Livingston, away and Hibs and Motherwell). The only black mark came as they dropped the points on penalties, after a 0-0 League Cup draw at Kelty Hearts. Their solitary win over a top flight side came in a 2-0 over Dundee United in the second round of the League Cup.
Brendan Rodgers big decision will be who to fill the gap created by injuries to Alistair Johnston and Anthony Ralston. Colby Donovan (turned 19 last week) is a natural right back who played against Livingston and Kairat. Having come through the development leagues in Scotland, he will also be more than familiar with plastic pitches.
The more experienced Marcelo Saracchi made his Celtic debut when he replaced Kieran Tierney at Ibrox two weeks ago. Marcelo is a left back who has played on the right before. Most expectations are likely to favour the Uruguayan getting the nod but that plastic will play on the manager’s mind. I would be tempted to go with Colby.
It will read as tongue-in-cheek, but we have an interest in whether Hearts drop points at Ibrox tomorrow. The Edinburgh side are joint top with Celtic, whereas the Ibrox outfit are not even in the top six. We are accustomed to looking locally for a challenge but that situation is fluid. Tony Bloom’s Hearts takeover will become relevant soon. Another Ibrox draw would be a decent outcome, although all we can do is look after ourselves.

It’s up.

Still can’t believe the North Curve are going ahead with the 12 minute protest on Sunday.
Why take it out on the team and the management? What will the new players be thinking?
Bunch of attention seekers, because it’s all about them.
Intolerant bunch. I really don’t need to respond to that.
Been reading back nearly five days worth now. Time at the pool isn’t that precious 😉
It’s been good to read the thoughts of various posters. Chairbhoy, Turkeybhoy, and a few others. But a big shout out to Auldhead. He’s probably the one poster that never gets scrolled on by. So glad our brilliant nhs got got up and going again 👌
PS- Dan your absolute determination to shout down Arseholes on here is testimony to your beliefs my friend. Don’t ever stop.💪💚

“The mob! Just keep doing the msms job for them.
Then criticise others for doing the same thing.”
…….
Define “mob” and the job they are doing.
The only ones filling the medias gobs are, Brendan running his mouth half way up the road, but wont go the other half, and a comedy of error strewn Celtic supporters outfits.
Not a single supporters outfit has asked why Brendan kept last seasons transfer window arrivals on the bench as we lost to Almaty, which would have been all we would have heard about, had Neil Lennon been the manager, indeed the sack Lennon protests would still be going on in the car park, whilst Brendan gets away with [glibly] claiming that we needed much more players.
Fans DON’T have, a punchy, get to the point, supporters leader that the board, or manager are wary of. That is weakness which has been borne out of being spoiled rotten, and made fat and lazy, by being spoon fed, trophy, after trophy, since 2012, vs teams who can hardly afford the bus fare to come and play Celtic.
Is it the boards fault that fans call an emergency meeting, weeks after they have given away their power, to the outfit who has them all hot under the collar, the PLC board.
The PLC are not my choices of leaders, but it is open season, and if I were the PLC, I’d get into the managers head, like he tried to get into the PLC’S today by running his mouth like a spoiled child, yes he was, imho.
The PLC should come out and ask the manager, through the media, why he stood on the touchline watching Celtic failing miserably to crack Almaty, whilst all of last seasons signings sat on the bench?
And, if the manager didn’t like last seasons players, how, can we be sure he’d like this seasons players?
Imho, Jim McLean would have won the Treble and a European trophy with the players at Celtic under Brendan’s watch, teaching the players how to achieve these things under an astute manager like, Jim McLean, meaning these players could be coming back to Celtic as the future managers, to do it all again, meaning their players would also like to come back, again, and again, and again.
No Supporters group asked why Scott Brown has left Celtic as though he has learned nothing, why is that, and what could be done to prevent it happening again?
No suupporters group has asked why they waited until we went out of the CL, to conclude a Brendan flavoured transfer window, so that he could moa about it, and use to deflect the narrative any time he came a cropper.
Why was Ange not into using Transfer Windows as an excuse for drama queening?
Why could Ange get players in in the 1st week of the window, but Brendan disappointingly can’t?
Tom, it was a vote taken by more than just the North curve. Why are you making it about them.
Kev geeze peace

Didn’t realise it was the manager who did the scouting, negotiating and signing of players…
Tut tut Brendan, must do better……
Fair hill bhoy, I support for your efforts, but those who post ridiculous stuff don’t want to engage. They want to shut down all debate. Tug the forelock and accept your place.
ONIL it’s mini man kev.

Deluded or what..
I think he’s unwell. He really should seek help.
Gon the Brendan.
On to killie now.
FAIRHILL BHOY
It was the North Curve who raised the idea of the 12 minute boycott and publicised it to the general support.
Timmy7. Hardly any effort on here now. B78 put paid to that. A clown of a guy, who thankfully has been found out on here, at last.
Tom . And the general support did what ?
Brendan says he wants to be Celtic manager beyond this season.
Brendan when asked, agreed that the person who bad-mouthed him to the Sun should be sacked.
“A clown of a guy, who thankfully has been found out on here, at last”.
“Found out”?
Do tell.
Do tell.
A bit like you to be honest
A 🤡
but above all the hideous and deteriorating style of football we are compelled to watch each week is probably the worst thing of all.
simply do not go then.

Danny Lennon BBC Scotland channel Airdrie manager
And for what it’s worth. James Forest is very much welcome on here. Beats the readymade arseholes who will keep digging no matter what 😉👌☘️
Fairhill Bhoy…
Cheers, what a state of affairs eh!!
The loathers telling us BR&Co’s football is repetitive and boring and he needs to change tactics.
Guess irony is not there strong point.
Hail Hail

Thank you. You’ve revealed more about yourself than anyone else.
I thought Brendan’s press conference was excellent. I noted that there was one well known name he omitted when talking about the ‘good guys’ he works with. Interesting.
112 goals in league football.
boring so it was.
If I was a gambling man I’d put my house on Lawwell being the one who stabbed Brendan on the back to the Sun.
And as if by magic Chairbhoy appears on the scene to back up Fairhill Bhoy, who happens to be making a complete tit of himself.
Birds of a feather and all that.
The blogger- I revealed myself years ago buddy. Have you not been watching. I can’t stand arseholes. Keep up
winning games in euope and getting points away from home, poor football that.
CHAIRBHOY. Someone asked the question, I wonder what SFTB would think of this situation. I thought of you first. Both going back and forth with nothing but respect for each others opinions. But still going for the win.
💚

Not totally read back but dome points….
Burnley78….Sorry but I’m different on one of your points, in that i DGAF about a style of play as long as we win.
Chairboy…..C’mon mate…you’re a cleverish dude and put z lot of detail into your arguments (a lot of which is erroneous right enough) but accusing Tontine Tim of not knowing football is mental. The guy remembers detsils about Celtic from 60 years ago.
“That’s why I left the last time”
“I didn’t have to come back”
Mmmmmm
Worrying but very very enlightening about our manager’s persona and how he views the Celtic job.
Anyway, we go into Sunday’s game with the best defensive record in world football.
I think Brendan and JK and Cal can lift the whole club with a resounding win.
3-1 win
Blogger- I generally make a tit off myself most days. Can you tell me how or why I’m making it today 😉
“The blogger- I revealed myself years ago buddy. Have you not been watching. I can’t stand arseholes. Keep up”
As I was saying: Thank you. You’ve revealed more about yourself than anyone else.
Dearie me.
