EMILIO IZAGUIRRE’S red card was the turning point in the thrilling 2-2 stalemate against Ajax, according to boss Ronny Deila.
The Honduran was sent off for a second booking with Celtic leading 2-1 before Lasse Schone’s bizarre leveller late on.
“In the end, if we see the whole game, a draw is okay and it’s a very important point because away it’s always difficult to get points.
“Emilio has no record of having a lot of red cards and he took out maybe their best player. He has to just move on from this.”
“Everybody knows that we can play good football and we are a good football team, but tonight we needed a performance and we needed some confidence through performances and if you can back up that with points, it makes it much easier.
“We’ve got one point away in Amsterdam and that can be important at the end of the group. Now we really want to beat them at Celtic Park.”
