Regan on SFA acting without fear

944

“The Scottish FA has a responsibility to all its members and must implement its rules without fear or favour”.  Stewart Regan, SFA chief executive, 24 April 2012.

What chance the SFA will be able to act without fear now?  I don’t imply they will act without favour, but do you believe SFA panellists can act without fear?  Anyone who participates in Rangers appeal process and upholds their punishment will act despite fear.

This process, one of the most important the SFA has dealt with in years, has been subverted, and that calls for a far greater sanction that any already imposed.

  1. Some huns on RM discussing how much money other teams OWE THEM…a couple insisting they are owed more than they owe other clubs…so they are sick of people saying how much Rankers owe other clubs!

Do these people have a functional cerebral cortex?

  2. Thinking about the Gregg Wylde thing and feeling very amused that ex-Airdrie man 8among other things9 Owen Coyle should be instrumental in landing yet another blow to the already dazed and bloodied rangers.

  3. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!..Truth and Justice will always prevail on

See they’re starting on their old theme….Celtic fans will get bored and crowds will dwindle …… LOL

    CLUTCHING AT STRAWS, BHUN LOVERS…

  4. Spiers on SSB said that R****** fans should be more worried about the SPL investigation into contracts and payments rather than the one just concluded by the SFA. Gave the impression that things did not look good for RFCIA. Both he and WS said today that things could only get worse. Could this be hundreds& thousands to add to our ice cream?

  6. Ratweasel Nevins’ commentary detracting from Ahtletic v Sporting.

    The snide wee hypocrite.

    Good game for all that.

Liking the 1967’ish look of the new strip. No “fussy” bits and a few more hoops.

Talking of which, I hope we see more hoops next season as I don’t think we wear the famous old hooped home kit often enough.

And at least the Tennents is smaller.

  9. Any idea when the FTT result will be announced?

How long does it take to figure out that TFOD have had 2 contracts? How long can they drag that out for?

  10. 1) The best Celtic strip ever was worn one sunny May day in Lisbon.

    2) Can’t belive the hot discussions today on a second strip that was posted and is a HOAX!

    There’s always one.

Best first impression of new hoops since I marvelled at the Phil O’Donnell modelled ultrahoopy top and socks as worn by the 3 amingos 1995.

Black socks caught me out at first – scintillatiing initial thought we were ripping the p*sh out the Huns by nicking their socks; they won’t nee dany agian, will they. Then the 125 hit me.

Oh, and evening Jabba as you look it to this ‘diseased website’.

    Two words: ‘Succulent Lamb’.

    On yer headstone, lardass.

  13. Afternoon all,

Watching the Bilbao/Sporting game being played at a cracking pace…and no despicable Nevin commentating either. Just cant figure out the Arab commentary though :)

Lovely well worked goal by Bilbao.

Spiers has probably read Barcabhoy’s post at 20:02 on RTC.

A must read and a taste of what lies ahead.

Emdy able to pull it across to CQN. An outstanding post.

  18. Nevin doing his level best to waste the commentary with inane drivel about English referee’s being superb, pandering to the English audience, and the establishment in his usual inimitable style.

  19. Does anyone know the budgets of Bilbao and Sporting in comparison with Celtic. Dumb question time- if they can do it why can’t we?

  20. My daughter’s going to Belfast tomorrow for the weekend and hoping for somewhere in the city centre that might be safe enough to watch Sunday’s anticipated goal fest. “Near the bus station?” is the best I got from her.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    You ain’t seen nothing yet…….

Rangers have so far been found guilty of multiple breaches. We don’t know the detail in full, however the comment from the 3 man judicial panel was illuminating. I suspect the detail of what Rangers have done, when it is provided, will be as shocking to many , as the news that Rangers owed £134 million.

That sum wouldn’t have been a complete surprise on here, however to the main rump of Scottish Football it was jaw dropping.

However everything that has been disclosed so far, disclosed by the administrators or authorities, is small potatoes compared to what is to come.

The response of behalf of Rangers so far has been disingenious, in fact it is idiotic and insults the intelligence of everyone who doesn’t have a set of blue blinkers evosticked to their eyelids. The most recent statements, yesterdays and todays, by McCoist are way beyond ill judged and idiotic. They are shameful, they were calculated, they were pre planned and they were sinister. Worryingly todays statement merely repeated the main thrust , just asking for collateral damage to be removed.

It makes you wonder what on earth they will come out with when the FTT reports in full detail. Who are they going to blame. Will this be another case of ownership not being the same as the club.

And that takes us to the FTT . We have it on good authority that 75 players were involved. Just think about that for a moment.

75 players. How many agents were involved, how many Directors at Rangers, How many Chairmen, How many Chief Executives

The duplicity of this , when it is laid bare, will not merely show a couple of people bending the rules. It will be the biggest act of deception in football history. 75 players,4 managers, probably 30 agents, 10 directors, 3 CEO’s and 3 Chairmen. Over 120 individuals conspiring to cheat the taxman, the football authorities, SPL Clubs and European Clubs.

There must be no hiding place for anyone involved in this. I look forward to the disgraced element of the Scottish media’s attempts to mitigate and absolve. I am beginning to come to the conclusion that Whyte is not the only sociopath involved in this.
