  1. Go tell the Spartim on

Well done all mature performance in a game we could’ve won.

    Ref a feckin clown

I fear for killie, nah I don’t I hope we take as many as possible off them

  2. I’m struggling with my 3 pics for Jobo’s Man of the Match. Julien is in obviously, Elhamed, Brown, Christie, CalMac & Jonny are all in my thoughts. Think I might give ol’ Jonny a vote. Wits will be delighted with me.

Two things from Hun game, Huns should be a couple up & the Colombian Super Star is one ugly bassa.

As I type the Huns do score. In all fairness they are playing them off the park,

  3. Soz

if you took offence at the DaSilva taking a nap comment…I made it and I make no apologies…they were cheating diving bassas

  4. Very well done Celtic against a shower of actors, how Traore and Mendy can say what they did is in any way professional is beyond me, Traore didnt like the tackle from Hayes so what and pretended to be hurt likewise the keeper faked a facial injury to get Bayo sent off, weak refereeing helped though, we can beat them here and I hope we do big time.

  5. Tictaewin – Celtic TV are not allowed to show live Video because of uefa restrictions. There were no constraints in the qualifiers which is why they were allowed to show them. It’s really frustrating for all of us overseas Tims !

Good result tonight. Was intending to keep off the internet and watch on Celtic TV later, but couldn’t bear the tension. Still worth a watch by the sounds of it though.

  6. Away goals in the Europa League.

These can count in a tiebreaker situation. So, should we end up level with Rennes in all other criteria after a 0-0 at Celtic park, we would progress

  7. Prestonpans Bhoys

Probably right, but can’t see the near corner. Would not be in the least surprised if King just ignored it, or tried it on with a lesser number.

  8. Terrific result in this group. Which could well be very close, ie right up to December. Now to re-establish our home Euro form of old, do that we will do well. As we did tonight.

  9. Apart from penalty. Defended well….bayo ..shocking decision.. oe. Deserved Yellow…they should have had. 10 !

  10. LURKIN TIM

Disciplinary and Club co-efficient has got to be a cop out…what’s wrong with a play-off…at a neutral ground…winner takes all

    😂😜

  13. If you can keep it tight and not concede for the first 20 mins against that Hun team they usually begin to run out of ideas

Btw glad Edouard wasn’t his usual brilliant self tonight… helps us keep him a secret for a little bit longer

Wee BGFC…we’ll all be in the BV at 1…or have the arrangements changed?

    ———————-

Howdy – BlantyreTim I think said BV at 1 then prossibly round to Machuill’s thereafter. An Tearmann I think said some people meeting in Machuills. Contacted Machuill’s and they said they’d be happy fur us to to do a wee session up to 4:00, when they have band booked.

Are there maybe two gagns of people out Hooting at the same time??? Seem to remember seeing some mention of a CQN and Sentinel Celts being present.

What about the Judean People’s Front :-))) ?

Oanywho – me and the bhoys coming in early for breakfast in the toon – will be in the BV from about 12:30, and will see what happens thereafter. Certainly want to take up Machuill’s on their offer – they were kind enough to get back to me.

  15. Feck me. Huns could be 5 or 6 up at this stage, Scored one missed a penalty, hit the bar with a screamer & their Keeper has pulled off 4 or 5 World Class saves.

  16. That’s 4 tough away games in a row – 2 in Europe plus Ibrox and the Hamilton plastic – and we won 3, drew 1 and conceded 2 goals, both penalties. Would certainly have taken that before AIK game !

What concerned me tonight was the play acting of the Rennes team which eventually resulted in young Bayo being sent off for a 2nd yellow card when the referee had called it correct by playing on and jogging back up the field.

He did not even give a foul but the GK milked it as they were down to 10 men in stoppage time and just lay there until the referee jogged back up to him and make the shocking change of mind to award a 2nd yellow for Bayo.

Why ? As an ex ref, iI was gobsmacked when he did this. If there had been VAR, he would have stuck with his original call and settled for a standard free kick to the GK under the circumstances. The ref was nervous from the first minute as you could tell by his “how dare you” body language as he tried to intimidate the players. Bad sign.

No appeal and likely a 1 game ban (Cluj home) for Bayo. Just hope Griff is fit again as back up to Eddie.

Also the home game against Rennes will need a top referee as they will be rolling about CP all night

  17. Wee BGFC…Peoples Front of Judea lol

The Hoot is a BMCUWP production…lately of this parish…ok so we’ll probs move on early from BV

  18. I read what my da said; ‘breakfast’.

In the words of the owner of the flat we were in in Germany over the summer: “Zwei beir ist ein schnitzel”
