Reports of Roberts loan to Celtic denied

Celtic have NOT agreed a deal to take Patrick Roberts on loan next season.  Sources within the club expressed surprise at reports claiming as much. The club have been working with Manchester City and the player for some months, in an attempt to secure the services of the England youth international.

A loan deal is only one of the options being discussed.  But while Celtic look the most likely destination for Patrick, there is still work to be done.

Celtic, who will soon be able to offer guaranteed Champions League football to prospective players, are active in a number fronts.

    Lenny was completely right to act/react in the manner he did last week but you won’t see Brendan do that.

    I’m not aware of anybody not posting because its pro Celtic board.

     

     

    I think there is a healthy civil broad variance of opinion exchanged on CQN

     

    give or take the odd daily visiting walloper.

     

     

    Maybe we all wish we could get our act together and sign up the best Celtic personnel ever assembled.

     

     

    Maybe Stuart is a greedy barsteward for signing for just another two years.

     

     

    Maybe he has no emotional tie to “us” and is just not “Celtic minded”

     

     

    I read the last bit on here, now that is unbalanced.

    If we do get Paddy (hopefully permanent) what a few days it will have been for our club.

     

     

    A big thank you to Jamesgang for getting me tickets for the Astana game, brilliant tickets they we’re too, I’m the Jock Stein lower.

     

     

    Was in the Tollbooth before the game, Paul Sheridan really is a great Singer and pretty handy on the guitar too, much to my envy!!

    Probably, we all go through phases where the repetition of posts and posters gets us down. It’s more likely that it’s just me and I’m looking for balance from both sides.

    Stuart signing a new contract is very good for Stuart but I think it is very good for Celtic too.

     

     

    I want to see Paddy back, preferably as our player, but even on loan would be good, as Brendan builds for Ten in a row.

     

     

    Oh, and I’d also love to see a fans’ café beside the Superstore.

    Apologies, I know your post was for H.T. but I couldn’t help myself from jumping in.

     

    This is an honest conversation from work today, I was talking about CQN with two pre-season ticket holders, one said I don’t know how you can go on there it full of pro board propaganda, when i attempted to stick up for CQN, the other ghuy said come on,you have to admit it’s full of old men with right wing views. I said well I consider myself neither.

     

    So there you go, that’s how a very small portion of our fellow support see us.
