Rest Brown, Tierney and others for Tynecastle, Ben Nevis Huddle

Sunday’s game at Tynecastle is a bit of a dead rubber for both Hearts and Celtic.  The home team cannot finish higher or lower than sixth place, while the Champions will be rested after a few days in Tenerife.

I know you want to rattle a few goals past Hearts; make up for the defeat there earlier in the season and, well, because they are Hearts, but this should not be a priority.  We are two weeks away from a Scottish Cup Final and the opportunity to become the first team in Scottish history to win back-to-back trebles.

Neither Motherwell nor St Johnstone have much to play for in their game this weekend, but you can be sure Motherwell will have an eye on the Cup Final.  They will rest players and allow strains to recover.  We must do the same.

I would rest the captain, Ajer, Boyata, Tierney and Forrest.  Set the priority right and be ready for Hampden.

Celtic FC Foundation, Ben Nevis Huddle

After a three year gap, the Celtic fans will be back on Ben Nevis on mass on 30 June, to raise funds for the Foundation.  This is a rare opportunity for those of us unfamiliar with mountains to ascend Britain’s tallest in the company of supportive Celtic fans.

Participants are asked to raise (only) £130 for the Foundation.  It is a great opportunity, see here for more details and to sign up this weekend.

    In 2 weeks Celtic have the opportunity to do something really Incredible.

     

     

    7 in a Row is mightily Impressive.

     

     

    Now if we Manage to get that Double Treble, fingers crossed we can, as Motherwell will be desperate to win the Scottish Cup just as much as Celtic.

     

     

    Next Season will be very interesting, especially if Hibs can hold on to their best players.

     

     

    I think Aiberdeen will just pip Hibs to 2nd place this Season, I think it will be reversed next Season howevaaaah.

     

     

    Oli is just settling in, he is is a slow burner. He is gonnae be Mega.

    Sad night for the County….My son, brother and niece were there for County tonight…along with a few other friends.

    We’ll miss the Celtic visits to Dingwall…..but we sure as f won’t miss the huns.

    I was only 5/6 but was going to games since I was 2 year old with my Da and the bus from Easterhouse. If my Da couldn’t make it someone looked after me/us.

     

     

    Fiorentina, Benfica, Upest x 2, Leeds, great as they were, hate they scousers/song knickers etc….

    Brendan got it perfect today.

     

    I hope Broony, when asked, says he played against him and he was an excellent player but we concentrate on ourselves etc.

     

     

    If King’s only plan here is a share issue then they are in serious bother and that’s why the other directors are bailing but I still find it hard to believe SG and his agent have went on King’s word.

     

     

    Hibs n Dons should be a great tv game tomorrow.
