I know you want to rattle a few goals past Hearts; make up for the defeat there earlier in the season and, well, because they are Hearts, but this should not be a priority. We are two weeks away from a Scottish Cup Final and the opportunity to become the first team in Scottish history to win back-to-back trebles.
Neither Motherwell nor St Johnstone have much to play for in their game this weekend, but you can be sure Motherwell will have an eye on the Cup Final. They will rest players and allow strains to recover. We must do the same.
I would rest the captain, Ajer, Boyata, Tierney and Forrest. Set the priority right and be ready for Hampden.
Celtic FC Foundation, Ben Nevis Huddle
After a three year gap, the Celtic fans will be back on Ben Nevis on mass on 30 June, to raise funds for the Foundation. This is a rare opportunity for those of us unfamiliar with mountains to ascend Britain’s tallest in the company of supportive Celtic fans.

Rabble rousing and fireside fusiliers are fine and dandy, Celtic supporters just buy season tickets, and prosper, and you have to understand the demographic regarding Hamdump, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Scotland , for the insular nature of this island… think Nelson Mandela.
I sat there through it, maybe you did, Peter Lawwell certainly did, Brendan Rodgers is clearly acutely aware of what happened but Celtic despite our glory are in a rigged race, and there is no way out………Can you see one?
We must only fight battles we can win, like the next treble, or the next, it doesn’t mean Celtic or our board can make Rainjurz a Scottish Juventus although they’re worse ( whose fans still count the stripped titles anyway ) we are not a judicial body.
Last Sunday was funny, ole Sevco the curse of Rainjurz, we will be their nemesis too.

I’m happy to admit this appointment is interesting in that nobody really knows how it will turn out.
We can guess and proffer opionion, but we don’t really know.
However, I think this is very, very good for Celtic and if you want my opinion, I’d say it’s another Scottish Cup semi moment when they beat us on penalties.
Steven Gerrard is either very naive or extremely arrogant and disrespectful. In 12/18/24 months only he or Brendan Rogers will be in situ. I do not think he is completely stupid and naive, which leaves me with the view that he thinks he can come up to Glasgow with no managerial experience and put Brendan Rogers out of a job.
Brendan will know this and be livid.
My concern for Celtic in years to come was complacency. Ironically Gerrard’s appointment changes that.
For the record I reckon another invincible season awaites; Gerrard is gone in 18 months having blown a wad of cash and Sevco go the way of the Titantic. But only time will tell.

Well I take your point, firstly, rightly or wrongly my belief is that Celtic didn’t want to rock the boat too much, they had little faith the process would have achieved anything and they did not want to make this an “Old Firm” issue.
As far as Judicial Review goes, Mike Ashley went down this route with very limited success.
We must bear in mind John Reid’s robust defence of Celtic and being cheated by officials was a sunami of anti Celtic rhetoric, strikes and universal condemnation.
On the Rangers affair IMO the reaction would have been worse much worse, they were looking for a fight… we had to be smarter.
Now I look at the results from then til now and believe we played a blinder but that’s just my opinion.
With regard to your earlier comments of CQN… a few thots…

Meant the original blog tried to redress the imbalance of news in the pro Rangers SMSM by giving positive Celtic News.
The blog has always been accused of been pro Board… for me why not? The Board is pro Celtic as a rule.
It meant that Celtic were rarely challenged but you are of course correct, on occasion they were by CQN and hard questions were asked.
Not anymore – Paul67 rarely comes on the Blog now outwith his articles (and let’s face it what 300 + per annum is a considerable input). He is always supportive of the Board and IMO toes the party line. He rarely goes for the jugular in the Authorities, Officials or Opponents unless let of the leash…
A shame in some ways but I don’t blame him, I saw how things developed.
There is no getting away from the fact that P67 gives us this platform to contribute and outside a few well established rules we can debate as we please – including criticism of the blog.
