CELTIC’S £5million flop striker Albian Ajeti could be on his way back to Parkhead.
Hoops fans can relax, though, the Swiss frontman has not emerged as an unlikely target for Brendan Rodgers in this transfer window.
Ajeti, who was bought from West Ham by Neil Lennon in the summer of 2000, scored a miserly nine goals in two years at Parkhead and had an unsuccessful loan spell at Austrian outfit Sturm Graz before he was offloaded for a cut-price £500,000 to Gaziantep in September 2023.
He scored one goal in only five outings for the Turkish club before being freed.
