BRENDAN RODGERS has named his 25-man squad for the forthcoming Champions League games.
All of the manager’s summer signings – keepers Kasper Schmeichel and Viljami Sinisalo, defenders Auston Trusty and Alex Valle, midfielders Paulo Bernardo, Arne Engels and Luke McCowan and striker Adam Idah are in the pool.
The champions kick off the new-look competition against Slovan Bratislava at Parkhead on Wednesday September 18 before taking on Bundesliga pair Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig, Europa League winners Atalanta, Club Brugge, Dinamo Zagreb, Young Boys and complete the sequence against Aston Villa in the Midlands on January 29 2025.
