NICOLAS KUHN fired in the clinching goal in Celtic’s hard-fought 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park yesterday.
His solo run and excellent finish put him into double figures for the campaign as well as shooting the champions back to the top of the Premiership.
The breathtaking strike also came just five days after his double blast in the 3-1 Champions League triumph over RB Leipzig at Parkhead while he also chipped in with another in the 6-0 romp over Aberdeen in the Premier Sports League Cup semi-final the previous weekend.

However, Brendan Rodgers revealed the German flyer wasn’t entirely satisfied – and it was the one that got away against Killie that irked the prolific touchline ace.
The visitors were leading with Callum McGregor’s first-half stoppage-time goal when Kuhn was preented with the ideal opportunity of doubling the advantage in the 61st minute.
He was set up following a neat one-two with Adam Idah and was left with just keeper Robby McCrorie to beat.
Unusually, the flanker lost composure at the crucial moment and thumped his effort at the outrushing shotstopper who managed to block the drive and the chance was gone.
Kuhn made up for it 10 minutes later when he raced onto an Alistair Johnston pass, teased his way into the box and this time made no mistake with a low left-foot drive wide of the exposed McCrorie.
HIT…Nicolas Kuhn leaves Robby McCrorie helpless with Celtic’s second goal.
Reflecting on the form upsurge from the wide Bhoy, boss Rodgers, speaking to Celtic TV, said: “It’s confidence and I think he’s got that feeling now for scoring goals.
“He’s disappointed he didn’t score the other chance which he felt was an easier one.
“His movement was great. His touch to set himself up and the finish were both absolutely sublime and we needed that at 1-0 because with balls coming in to the box it’s very close.
“So, he enabled us to settle the game. It was a great pass from Ali and a great run and finish from Nic.”
