Revolving door

249

Kris Ajer will succeed in England, well beyond the regain fodder he joined yesterday.  He was crucial for Celtic with an ability to break through the lines better than central defender we have seen in years, and that includes van Dijk.

If he can figure out how to complete in the air he will go right to the top.  Without wanting to sound churlish, his parting would be sweeter of he had been available for selection this preseason.

Within hours the revolving door bright Carl Starfelt to Celtic, or at least to a hotel where he can continue isolation.

After a traumatic season watching Celtic’s defence, Carl will be a success of he competes at set pieces and clears his lines.

Welcome to Celtic, Carl.

Could you get anymore ignorant or racist for that matter.

  5. Chairbhoy ( at ages ago )

    Hope your’e well.

As we already know this is the bit where you and I came in.

I appreciate your ole CQN expand to profit but you haven’t told us how to manage it, or where the old board with 29 trophies in PL’s era ‘failed’. If that’s unsuccessful and the basis of daily negative diatribe ( not you ) then thank the lord we did it.

I made the schoolboy error of lifting the good man’s name in these very troubled times and giving him an era whilst using somebody else’s ‘researched’ trophy haul. Maybe it’s accurate who knows, did he not return in 2003? . I genuinely do not regard Alan McDonald, Terry Cassidy, or Peter Lawwell as era holders, and don’t even think of Sir Robert Kelly of Lisbon as ‘the Celtic’ who belonged to his era. His time was filled with dreadful Celtic teams and real ‘abject failure’ till Jock Stein came along.

Without getting into personalities or records, I think Peter Lawwell CEO’ed Celtic to the best of his ability, and with the best of Celtic intentions everytime. He may have been a lot of things ‘incompetent wasn’t one of them. CEO’s are overpaid the world over its a societal problem and in reasonable sized business’s ( still the biggest employer in the East End on matchday ) it appears we are no different.

My reply to MM earlier was about daily negative tedium ( not your posts obviously ) one line nonsense, that doesn’t take into account nine from ten of the last seasons, and offers no evidence apart from blame culture, and self entitled rageoholics. On Europe every Most Chairman CEO’s sjhould have done better since 1967. Revisionism, will never change facts, and Celtic ran out of luck in year ten, in every conceivable way.

Hello again all you young rebels.

Always interesting debates between BOURNESOUPRECIPES and JHB

    and it’s kept civil.

As regards Bob Kelly, he took a lot of abuse from the Celtic support but

I still remember the Kelly kids very fondly.

And even the ghod, Big Jock was berated at Central Station when arriving

    back from a bad defeat.

Can’t remember exactly what the situation was, but he was arguing with

the fans and was told emphatically ” your not the Celtic, we are, the fans ”

    Maybe TONTINE will remember exactly.

No matter how badly we performed last season.

No matter how little financial progress has been made in his time.

No matter the scale of our collapse as a top rank football club.

In your eyes PL is and was a success.

If that is the case you are a fool and your happy clappy attitude got us into this mess.

PL is / was a second rate property bean counter who made his money doing a rich man’s bidding.

The club / the football / the support — we all came second to him lining his own pockets.

A complete charlatan who has breathed life into the toom tabbard that is TFOD2.1.

Their league success was built on his own stupidity.

Where do you get your management techno babble nuggets from?

The biggest matchday employer in the east end …

    Barrel scraping at its worst.

Hiding behind legions of students on minimum wage Saturday shifts.

Some legacy for the “Sharp Suited Man”.

Sorry about that, said ” It’s always an interesting debate between

Bourne and JHB, meant Bourne and CHAIRBHOY LOL.

I blame the Rid Biddy, which I’m just about to open.

Thought you’d be safely tucked up in bed by now.

    A happy clapper?, a new low…………….. shirley.

You’ve got to take our second nine in a row and throw it in the bin if you can’t accept winning and losing a game of football. You seem to forget (as do other bloggers ) any success in the so called ‘PL era’ was achieved ligitimately and within the rules of the game ( remember them? ) We are a legitimate club operating within a fiscal business plan where you’re not supposed to spend more, than you bring in, ( FFP for you).

Collapse as a top rank football club

    Now that’s a nugget .

McVities in Tollcross do not work Saturdays?

Well even if they do, the 500 workers won’t do for much longer.

Watching Wim Wenders ‘Wings of Desire’ on Film 4, filmed in Berlin 1986 or thereabouts

Wasn’t there then though soon after, but first saw the East end of Glasgow in the 1960s,

Funny that East Berlin in 1989 was more prosperous than the East end of Glasgow in the same year, despite losing two World Wars, but they had a revolution not us. Hasn’t turned out as they hoped though

Celtic FC turning out to be the only constant since the 19c, in the East end,

Wont even be making Empire biscuits for much longer

*Don’t recall that but the Big Mhan had his fair share of shocking defeats and not all honest mistakes either but we were so glad we had him, as Hamish Imlach said he was our Latter Day Christ.

Might have been after I left when his last season was deplorable, just didnae have it anymore although that could be put down tae a near fatal MVA.

Remember it vaguely, I’m sure the Bhoys were coming back from

somewhere and Jock got caught up in a argument with the fans, the gist

of it, was him saying to them ” I’ll decide what’s right for Celtic ”

And of course the answer ” we’re the Celtic, the fans not you ”

Anger and frustration took hold of everyone, hence the outburst.

And I remember seeing a photo in the papers and headlines

” Jock confronts angry fans ”

As a young lhad I was gutted it came to that.
