  1. two funny moments tonight,

earlier comment from someone ,,,,,,,,,, their sausage was down, but its not the wurst

    and buy him a cd.

they made me snigger a bit

  2. Taylor is a fine wee pro but a better manager would bring him on, Agathe with Martin, made him 10 feet tall and he was amazing for us. Neil has the opposite reaction he takes guys like Christie, Eddie and now Duffy and makes them poor. We all know how this ends, he should never have been out in this postion with such an expensive squad but here we are, not his fault or ours, but this is where we are.

GT its not vitriol, he is not a young guy coming through the ranks, he is a multi million pound signing.

He is just not good enough, its that simple.

    —-

Down with this kind of stuff or you’ll get the mad Celtic grandads here on your case. He’s ‘trying’ apparently.

There was one moment in the 2nd half he got played in by Callum and was 1 on 1 with their right back wit space to beat him. He shat the bed, stopped, turned and played it backwards.

The cognitive dissonance amongst people here who want to see us win matches and play limited players is staggering.

We haven’t played a decent team this season yet.

  4. The manager is not fit for purpose. Nitcham was our best midfielder by far but he’s the easy choice when it comes to taking players off. Brown Christie and McGregor did nothing. Frimpong only got on because Forest got injured. Eddy should have been hooked at half time. Greg Taylor cost 3 million. He is not an academy player. He cannot beat a man and had no pace. He shouldn’t need time. This result only papers over the cracks. Neil Lennon looks like a man who knows he is out of his depth.bHe looks bewildered. He should be replaced now.

  5. ‘He takes guys like Christie, Eddie and now Duffy and makes them poor’

    😂😂😂😂

Eddy and Christie were brilliant last season when he was manager ffs. We get u don’t like Lenny but don’t talk nonsense

  6. Boil would have been our guy in a 352

We didn’t have to send him into purgatory

    We had let hayes go

Why did we have to hurt ourselves more than Aberdeen 8

  7. We have a good team, we haven’t played a good team yet but we are defeated in the dugout, every manager in our league know what Neil will do and he does it, our individual brilliance wins us the points, 11 guys out there with no plan, shape or motivation, their professional drive makes them play not the manager, we are poorer than Ronnies team and he was an experiment, to go back to a manager who was let go for these performances before says we are all suckers, from Brendan to Neil because Davie said no is not right, Neil was a rebound and it shows, since he has been there and Brendans ideas and practices are gone we are flat and a 90s team again.

  8. My worry on Sunday would be Hibs’ pace on the right hand side against our lack of pace on our left hand side

    Hope Ajeti starts

‘For all the credit he (Eddie) has in the bank I have to call a spade a spade.’

Are you sure that’s what you want to call him? Maybe another word beginning with ‘n’ is what you’re really after?

Nah, Neil is here for the ten. He killed the original Rangers and he’s going to kill sevco too. Enjoy it buddy :-)

  10. Tonight’s team performance can be summed up thus…

It will be a struggle to pick 3 players (Frimpong the obvious exception) who merit a MOTM mention.

  12. Back to Sarajevo for final round.

They were a physical team against us, last time.

I haven’t watched any of their game tonight but they have 5 yellows and a red which maybe suggests they are still a physical team.

  13. NL: “I thought we were very good. We had to wait a long time for the goal. Sometimes that happens in football. I thought we were excellent and our mentality was good”.

    – We’re just being trolled now, aren’t we? Anybody with half a brain should feel insulted by that.

Aside from the goal, the highlight of the second half was going to the fridge thinking I had one beer left, only to discover I had two😀😀

  15. onenightinlisbon on

Lennon has to be positive after the game but he is constantly taking the piss now with his post match interviews. We are heading for a defeat when we come up against a decent team, see how he spins that one.

  16. The difference between this team winning and losing is Ajeti! … and Ntcham! … and Moi! … and of course wee Frimpong! Maybe with Jamesy injured we might get to see Karamoko too?

Our goal tonight came from a fast throw out from Barkas … to McGregor … fast again (and almost impossible) to Fimpong – first time cross to Moi … Goooooooooooooo!!!

Bitton was good tonight too – maybe he should take Broony’s shift now and again?

I dont know, you will need to tell us. are you insulted ?

  18. That was so bad if it went to ET I was going for a bath!

It’s Crystal clear now that this group of players are simply not being coached. I love wee Lenny but already, this early in the season, his time is up. Hopefully, we ‘ll get The Ten but succession planning better have started now! This squad of players should be so much better than this. We’re being totally shortchanged here.

Turkeybhoy, if Greg Taylor is your cousin or nephew just say. Your constant hounding of everyone who criticizes him, which is the majority on here, is becoming creepy.

it was a lose/lose scenario for everyone. we had to let him go. I liked him.

no idea why we let Hayes go. Love everyone who scores against teh Zombies, especially defenders

    peace

Respect to Greg Taylor, never hides but is a left back who can’t cross or defend….. Johnny Hayes anyone?

  22. glendalystonsils on

Funny old game but not half as funny as the folk watching it.

For example , I thought Ntcham had a decent game tonight.

  23. I’ve worked for people who were very skilled at their trade but got promoted to management for a bit more money (not life changing money)

The Peter Principle where the best tech person becomes the manager but should have stayed tech and got payed more

Happened all the time in my engineering career

Big company though (50000) so you can avoid the crap if you want and make a difference

In a football club it is hard if you have a Peter Principle manager

Roy Keane is the classic example, Thierry Henri a close second

Neil Lennon was not a great player; Crewe, Leicester etc. Scored in the Milk Cup when 10

MON had done well at Leicester in a cup so buying Lennon for a ridiculous fee was allowed when he turned up at Celtic in a crisis

NL repaid MON for this by playing out his skin for 1 season\

His actual ability and bad habits set in after that.

Average player after that but erring loads

Punted eventually but should have been before the big

belly substitute final, felt bad for him that day

Came back as a youth coach

Once again a crisis offers an opportunity

Gets the stand in job; leaugue gone anyway wins a few games

Fucks up in semi. Goes radio rental

Gets job anyway on yts rates

Big boys buy him loads of toys

Fucks up in the league 4 times, loses a cup and disaster in Europe

Comes on the pitch thinking he is Malcom X

    I left early

    Anyone see a pattern?

  24. If we paid Killie £2mill for GT — then that is our issue not his.

That the usual suspects seem to hound him for 90 minutes during a game is something that I cannot fathom — just as I couldn’t understand why some hounded TC in the early 70’s — especially since we have a MF full of poor performers / has beens / never wizzers / sadly deluded.

But never mind how bad we play it is always GT’s fault.

Away and throw sh*t* at yourself ..

He needs support / coaching / tactics.

He is getting none of these.

  25. Actually if a team, any team was not being coached then they probably wouldn’t have won away in Europe without conceding and would have probably given up well before the 90 minute winner. Not crystal clear at all. Early in the season. Not fair we have to play any qualifiers, we do get better as the season grows. Lazio home and away must have been a fluke. Tellingly those games were later in the season……….
