    Lenny needs to learn from the past and be proactive with his subs. This has not been good tonight. I don’t want to be 1-0 down before Ajeti comes on

     

     

    I think Lenny is beyond learning from the past now. Unfortunately, that is where we are these days

    Riga showing just how difficult it is to break down a team of PROFESSIONAL footballers bent on defending in depth.

     

    Some simple solutions being offered on here but I fear they offer more in simplicity than solution.

     

     

    I am not a fan of football on my pc . When I am at a game, I keep expecting us to score. On a relatively small screen, it seems more difficult !!! Also, I think I am a screen jinx so I`ll miss the second half and allow our team to dowhat they should do. Win.

     

    For me,Bitton playing well;Taylor seeing a lot of the ball and doing some good things and some poor things; Ajer good going forward,clumsy in defence. Broonie? Yellow card a bit harsh but , considering how he plays the game, maybe too much of a Red Card risk to leave him on.

    We’ve seen the same pattern for too long …Sadly Can’t see things changing While we have Lenny who has no tactics and Broonie and JF as automatic first picks ….The way to beat packed defences is with fast wingers getting in behind the full backs….not by back across and back again…

     

    Regardless of tonight’s outcome we need a manager with some tactical knowledge who can get the best From the undoubted talent we have ….and play your best players ….not ….your pals ….

    Their tactic is to soak it up and hit us on the break,

     

    They did have one 3 to 1 break so they can’t be dismissed.

     

    I hate dissing any Celtic player & particularly Brooney but he only caught my attention twice and that was for 2 stupid fouls.

     

    I’m still not sure about subbing him for Turnbull but Turnbull should have been tested before tonight.

     

    Throwing him in now, in a knock out away European game would be a baptism of fire,

    Big Bitton – good

     

    Midfield – dougnut

     

    McGregor – good

     

    Wee Jeremy – thank goodness!

     

    Christie – mixed bag so far – some good / busy

     

    Broonie – not great – maybe a risk to keep him on given yellow card

     

    Ntcham – not enough from him – need to get him in the game more – maybe system / shape issue?

     

    Duffy – good apart from a couple of slack passes

     

    Big Ajer – nightmare – accident waiting to happen

     

    Barkas – glad he held the cross

     

    Wee Jimmy – not a patch on Wee Jeremy

     

    Big Eddy – been off form for a while – continued tonight

     

     

    Despite the above, Celtic more on top as half progressed – keep the pressure on! When we click we’ll be great :-))

    Hate to say it but I have no confidence in Celtic and the moment. We have plenty of good players and some very good but we are worse than the sum of our parts and that I’m afraid of poor management and/or coaching

    Eddie has got to release the ball – the midfielders are bursting a gut to fly past him and rarely get the return 1-2 . He did it once and put mcgregor through for our best chance.

    Where’s WGS when you need him. He was right- Eddy’s a10. Wasted up there on his own. Feel for him. Think it’s Ajeti and Moi time. COYBIG.

    Not good so far,never like to see a player injured but JF not exactly tearing them up prior to injury.

     

    Our 20M man frankly not worth his place,if Eddie is indeed dis-interested then should not be playing,that said I would take Taylor off,move Eddie to left,and put on El Hammed in the LB position he plays for Israel.

    The experiment is over, Rolls Royce squad with a taxi driver at the wheel.

     

     

    Team of guys going through the motions, took a multi multi million squad and got them to play like Motherwell.

    Patience running out with Taylor – can he do anything else but pass it straight back to where it came from?

    Taylor has not developed just as Eddie has went backwards, Duffy is slow and we don’t look fit or sure of what we are doing. All layed at the door of the manager. Off form Cap and James still in the team.

     

     

    Hubris and stubborn has sent us backwards.

     

     

    Take no pleasure in moaning going for the 10 but huge mistake from Peter.

    Honestly can’t believe what we are watching here – we are awful and the body language stinks too – we could go out here but clearly the manager thinks it’s all going ok so that’s fine.
