Right back challenge

913

We can convince ourselves we have players who can fill the right back role, and this may be true for a few more weeks, but Mikael Lustig was one of the frailties that cost us against AEK last August, and we don’t even have him now.

So far the transfer window has gone well, but a team is as well as its weakest link. Failure to get a right back who can stop crosses into the box has to be avoided.

That night in Athens is all the motivation we should need.

Sorry mate I really cannot stand it.

The Euan Murray bloke is really really hard to listen to.

The adverts are beyond the joke especially when it comes down the stretch.

I am no fan of the BBC but they sure cover golf way better than sky.

It is also really bad for the game to take it [the open] away from free to air tv.

The damage it has caused the game will be there for all to see in the years to come.

Exactly… think Jamesgang mentioned today about KT not receiving any protection, which was spot on, in the Scottish Cup final he was hospitalised as well… he will be well protected in the over inflated EPL and I think he will improve against better players

The downside for the fans is I think nearly ever fan under the age of 30 (even the 30+) love the bhoy … MissGFTB was in P6 last term and she told me every single boy in the class loves KT… apart from maybe Henrik not many players manage to get the young (& old) fans so obsessed… in fact what defender is usually the kids favourite player !

    of course

but the tourny was in england and it was great and the crowds were incredible and a lot of that was to do with the immigrant population in the country and im sitting in a pub just now with my local kebab shop next door whose owner told me 2 weeks ago he was down at old trafford for one of the pakistan games at the start of the tourny

    Very happy, my fellow Tim.

We know where his heart lies.

As opposed to the hypocrisy of his predecessor.

    Now there`s a thought.

    Maybe Brendan posts on CQN.

Hope all is good my fellow Celtic fan

  13. All racism is abhorrent. No England does not have a monopoly on racism.

The SNP fully condones and encourages anti English racism.

Racism is racism and I will confront it wherever it rears its ugly head.

    Hail Hail.

Sentinel Celts produced a good lead article the other day using James Connelly’s writings on the history of the Plantation.

It was not at all a bi-cultural situation and the presbyterian incomers did not make Ireland any more multi-cultural than it was already.

You might be better citing the examples of the Native American tribes allowing European invaders to survive as a detrimental example or the Aborigines with the English and their prisoners.

But of course the Americas and Australia were already multi-cultural before the Europeans came.

Otherwise there would not have been tribe(s).

What ARE the Mods doing in the face of the anti Scottish and anti English racism so prevalent on the blog tonight ?

Surely not demonstrating double standards .

    Perish the thought.

Not to mention the avowed multiculturalists ?

Surely outraged by the insulting references to English culture in foreign lands.

As you well know the Ulster Plantation was more to do with Ethnic Cleansing than Multi Culturism

    Thanks for the advice.

    I`d rather take my own.

    Forget distant lands.

What could be more obvious to Celtic supporters than the disastrous assault occasioned by the attempted imposition of protestant culture on the Irish people and its ongoing results to this day.

Viz. Backstop et al et al.

Not to mention the rejection of the Irish ( mainly Catholics ) in Scotland which remains in your faces literally , to this day.

    What was the cry ?

    Aye. Multiculturalism.

    Ye cannae whack it.

    But it can whack you.
