Right back challenge

913

We can convince ourselves we have players who can fill the right back role, and this may be true for a few more weeks, but Mikael Lustig was one of the frailties that cost us against AEK last August, and we don’t even have him now.

So far the transfer window has gone well, but a team is as well as its weakest link. Failure to get a right back who can stop crosses into the box has to be avoided.

That night in Athens is all the motivation we should need.

Hello again all you young rebels.

Hope to get a look at big Jullien and young Luca on CTV tonight.

Thats if i can keep myself sober after a day on the razzle.

As i said in my post last night ( i think ) that bhoys exitement and

enthusiasm at signing for ” such a massive club ” his words

gives me the tingles, his determination to make it at Celtic shows

    through when he speaks.

I really hope he makes it and goes on to become a legend.

  3. Old Tim – Many, Many Happy Returns. All 80 of them. Wish I could make it to the BV but just arrived in Dalyan, Turkey. Hope you have a great day, Davie, surrounded with a myriad of friends. You truly are the essence of CQN and the epitome of a true Celtic supporter. Solomon sends his best wishes- he doesn’t miss an opportunity to tell his friends that he has met Old Tim.

    Have a good one!!!

  4. Still no sign of a right back?

Has anyone offered to pick him up from the airport …:)

  5. Another Cruel Summer for Celtic Alone fighting hard in Europe.

I hope the New club get to the group stages and get smashed to pieces, or just miss out on goal difference.

I sincerely hope Aiberdeen and Kilmarnock defy as many odds as possible.

  6. Old Tim
