ODSONNE EDOUARD has seen his market value drop an astonishing £11.5million in four years.
The one-time Celtic fans’ favourite became the club’s record buy at £9million in the summer of 2018 after impressing Brendan Rodgers during his season-long stint from Paris Saint-Germain.
The French frontman quit the Hoops in a £15.5million switch to Crystal Palace on August 31 2021, but failed to convince at Selhurst Park. He spent last season on loan at Leicester City where he barely figured and failed to score a solitary goal.

HAPPIER TIMES…Odsonne Edouard salutes the Celtic fans after hitting the winner in the 3-2 success at Ibrox in March 2018.
The Midlands club wanted to scrap the contract in January, but the London side’s boss Oliver Glasner made it clear Edouard had no future at Palace and refused to take him back.
Bizarrely, the 27-year-old forward came on as a late substitute as the team beat Liverpool 3-2 on penalty-kicks after a 2-2 draw to win the FA Charity Shield at Wembley last month.
But that was the final hurrah for Eduard who has just agreed a cut-price £4million three-year deal with Lige 1 outfit RC Lens.
The former France Under-21 international had been linked with Girona and OGC Nice while Celtic also rated a mention, but Rodgers brought an end to speculation when he insisted his former forward was not on his radar, as CQN reported last month.
Now the saga is over for the player who scored 87 goals in his four years at Parkhead.
