DON ROBERTSON will be in charge of Celtic’s crucial Premiership encounter against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday.
The referee will be assisted by Daniel McFarland and Colin Drummond on the lines with Grant Irvine at VAR controls.
Robertson has been the match official in five of the champions’ games this season, including the beginning of Wilfried Nancy’s catastrophic 33 days as Hoops manager when the Frenchman suffered a 2-1 debut loss against Hearts at Parkhead in December.
He was also entrusted with the whistle for the Hoops’ opening-day confrontation with St Mirren on August 3 when the hosts relied on a late strike from Luke McCowan to get the campaign off to a winning start.
Robertson was also the man in the middle of the dull scoreless stalemate in the Glasgow derby at Ibrox later that month.
He officiated as the Hoops drew 0-0 with Hibs at Parkhead in September before taking charge of Celtic’s 4-0 victory over Kilmarnock in Glasgow in November which marked Martin O’Neill’s fourth game in his initial spell as interim manager.
