ROBERTSON IN CHARGE

DON ROBERTSON will be in charge of Celtic’s potential title-winning visit to Tannadice to face Dundee United on Saturday.

Brendan Rodgers’ men will confirm their fourth successive Premiership triumph if they achieve at least one point against Jim Goodwin’s side who held them to a goalless draw at the venue just before the turn of the year.

Coincidentally, Robertson was the referee when the Hoops kicked off their campaign for a thirteenth flag in 14 years back on August 4 when they overcame Kilmarnock 4-0 at Parkhead.

The match official was also in control of the previous occasion on Tayside when the champions were held 3-3 in another stalemate against Dundee at Dens Park on January 14.

Robertson will be assisted by David Roome and Ross Nelson on the lines while Greg Aitken will be in charge of VAR.

The Hoops go into the 12.30pm kick-off in the knowledge only a catastrophic sequence of unlikely events will prevent them from lifting their 55th crown in their glorious history.
