BRENDAN RODGERS will have discussions with Australian international Head Coach Graham Arnold this week about winger Daniel Arzani.
The 19-year-old attacker, who made three substitute appearances for his country in the World Cup Finals in Russia during the summer, agreed a two-year loan deal from Manchester City last month.
However, the Hoops boss decided to leave the Aussie out of his squad for the Europa League group stages.
Arnold will travel to Lennoxtown when the Socceroos’ training camp in Turkey closes today.
He said: “Young Daniel is in great shape and he looked excellent in training.
“I will be in Scotland on Wednesday or Thursday. I’m meeting Brendan Rodgers and probably will find out more about the player’s progress.
“I do know Celtic rate him very, very highly.
“The kid has only been there two weeks and needs a little bit of time to let him settle. I’m sure the plans Celtic have will be great for him.”
