BRENDAN RODGERS has hailed Neil Lennon’s progress at Hibs as “outstanding”.
The Celtic boss takes his team to Edinburgh tomorrow afternoon as they aim to extend their UK unbeaten record beyond 67 successive games.
Rodgers said: “I’m really looking forward to going to Easter Road. I went to the Hibs v Hearts Scottish Cup game last season and I thought the atmosphere was brilliant.
“Hibs played very well and eventually got promoted.
“Neil’s done an outstanding job with them, obviously being unbeaten away from home, and at Easter Road, it’s always going to be a tough game.
“They have some very good players and quality. They work very hard, they’re committed and they have quality.
“They have an outstanding manager who will always want to win.”
