RODGERS TARGETS DEMBELE

FRENCH striker Moussa Dembele is on Brendan Rodgers’ radar as he revamps Celtic.

The 19-year-old striker scored 17 goals for Fulham in the Championship last season.
And that has attracted the Hoops boss as he searches for a frontline partner for Leigh Griffiths.
Dembele signed for the Craven Cottage outfit from Paris Saint Germain for £270,000 in 2012.
He has represented France from Under-16 to Under-20 levels, scoring 10 goals, and is being tipped for a breakthrough to Didier Deschamps’ full international set-up.
Dembele took the English second-tier by storm in the last campaign and formed a profitable partnership in the London side’s attack alongside Scotland international Ross McCormack.
Moussa is a natural goalscorer as he proved last season. He signed for Fulham as a 16-year-old unknown and shot through their academy into the first team.
There has already been considerable interest in him and Celtic will have to move fast if they want him. Brendan Rodgers will know all about his ability, of course, after watching him play on numerous occasions.
He is no longer one for the future – his time is now. He showed what he could do in the last campaign and he is just getting stronger and better with every passing game.
Rodgers has already shed three strikers since arriving – Anthony Stokes, Carlton Cole and Colin Kazim-Richards.
