BRENDAN RODGERS completed an unwanted hat-trick in the Champions League Group E loss to Lazio in midweek.
The 2-1 reverse against the Italians was the Celtic’s manager’s third consecutive defeat in European competition at Parkhead.
The latest setback follows the 2-1 flop in front of the Hoops fans against RB Salzburg in the Europa League group stages on December 13 2018.
Despite the loss to the Austrians, Rodgers’ men won through to the group of 32 where they were then turned over 2-0 by Valencia in Glasgow on February 14 2019.

And the horror trio was completed by Pedro’s stoppage-time winner for the Serie A outfit to leave Celtic anchored to the foot of the group after two successive defeats following the opening-day 2-0 loss to Feyenoord in Rotterdam.
Rodgers will be determined to stop the rot when Atletico Madrid visit Paradise on Wednesday October 25.
In all, the Irishman has seen Celtic win 11, lose eight and draw three of his 22 matches under the lights in the east end of Glasgow. At the same time, he has seen the Hoops hit 39 goals and concede 27.
