ROGIC LEADS HOOPS FANS’ SING-SONG – IN SYDNEY! PLUS THE BEST FEW SECONDS OF 2017 IN PICTURES

CROCKED Tom Rogic kicked every ball with his Celtic team-mates yesterday – all the way from Sydney!

The Australian midfielder has been sidelined with a knee injury in recent weeks and was allowed to return to his homeland before hooking up with the Parkhead men next month.

Rogic, who scored the opening goal in the champions’ 2-0 win at Ibrox earlier in the season, cheered on his team in a Celtic Supporters’ Club in Sydney – surrounded by hundreds of Hoops fans.

The game against plucky Sevco Rangers may have ended goalless, but it didn’t prevent the playmaker and the supporters from enjoying the occasion.

It wasn’t long before the songs started with the crowd breaking out a chorus of “One Tom Rogic”.

He can be seen detracting attention from himself and urging fans to concentrate their efforts on supporting the Bhoys on the large TV screens.

Rogic last featured for Brendan Rodgers’ side on December 5, coming off the bench against Anderlecht in the Champions League.

In what has been a wonderful year for the Celtic family, Tom Rogic provided the most wonderful highlight possible when he glided past those Aberdeen defenders in the rain, thunder and lightening at Hampden in the final seconds of the Scottish Cup Final before finding the net from an almost impossible angle to secure the Invincible Treble.

Thanks Tom! We could have been doing with you yesterday!
