Ronny Deila is wasting his breath when trying to warn those who throw pyrotechnics that they damage Celtic’s reputation. That fact is already well established but is irrelevant to those for whom throwing pyrotechnics is part of their football experience.
There is a clash of culture here. ‘The Man’, whether that be Uefa or the Health & Safety Executive, forbids pyrotechnics at football, but the consequences are visited on Celtic, not those who bring the pyrotechnics. No one has been brave enough to put their name to the pyrotechnic culture and I suspect no one ever will.
The last 24 hours has been a huge success for this unclaimed culture; it managed to grab some of the little space alongside the David Bowie news on Radio 5Live this morning, and many other places, adding fuel to the fire, if you pardon the pun. Someone is glowing with an “I did that” sense of achievement, although, of course, he’d never say so openly. It will continue unless the consequences are moved away from Celtic.

There were no flares yesterday, they were smoke canisters.
The media hate us and will make up stories about us as they please, so the fuel to the fire pish is just that, pish.
Flares were let off at a host of grounds over the weekend.
The GB were not responsible for the smoke canisters yesterday, they were hangers on, according to the GB site.
The reputation of the club is as it’s always been, those who hate us hate us no matter.
It’s a problem with society, the government have brought this on themselfs.
I am not condoning what happen but as a few have said, perspective.

Another subject – I watched Man Utd against Shef Utd (I really did sleep through most of it)
I see a lot of their play in ours – this 4-2-3-1 formation – and I don’t get it – I don’t understand what the players are trying to do ???
Are we trying to get behind their full backs ??
Are we trying to stretch their defence to play through the middle of them ??
Are we trying to get the ball wide to make crosses from a certain angle ??
When Bitton (for example) has the ball what is he being coached/told/looking to do with the ball ??
My own opinion is its killing the game – and our team – basically its about ball retention minimising the other teams time on the ball and their chance of scoring
Away from home in Europe maybe – but at home against anyone – we should be attacking with 2 up front
I will follow Celtic always – but and I hate to say this – watching Celtic is boring

No they were Celtic supporters, but not as you are stating the GB, arseholes aye, but not the GB.
You were asked earlier about the bottles that were thrown on to the heads of other Celtic supporters by their own, well give me a few flares or smoke canisters any day compared to that, nobody was hurt, our reputation is and has always been what it is by them who hate us.
