RONNY’S EURO RECORD

0
RONNY DEILA has been in charge of Celtic in 20 European ties and has won eight, lost seven and drawn five.
His team have scored 30 times – including two own goals – and conceded 28.
The Hoops boss has witnessed his side fail to qualify for the money-spinning Champions League group stages on THREE occasions over the past two years.
Worryingly, the forward line have fired blanks in five of the 20 ties. Four came in the crucial encounters, the first against Legia Warsaw – 0-2 at Murrayfield – before being reinstated after the Poles fielded an ineligible player.
Then they failed to register again when they were given a second chance against NK Maribor, losing 1-0 in Glasgow to topple out of the Champions League.
Deila saw his side go down 1-0 to Inter Milan in the San Siro Stadium last season to exit the Europa Cup 4-3 on aggregate at the last 32 stage.
And they couldn’t add to their first leg three as they collapsed 2-0 in Malmo, going out 4-3.
