There would have been no surprise reading Ronny Deila’s ‘heaven and hell’ season in the Celtic View. It must have been an enthralling season for the manager but, good grief, it started with an 8.6 on the Strachan Early Season Scale.
These experiences mark us. We’ve watched footballers and managers grow weary (another word for lazy) in the past, as their early groundwork waned during good times, but memories like Legia or Maribor will inform every decision Ronny Deila makes for the next four months. He needs to use that ‘Never again’ month as fuel right now.
Did you sign the petition yesterday to demand the Scottish Government repeal their ill-conceived nonsense of a law which the entire country outside of Holyrood, and a few elites at Police Scotland, know is an abomination? If not, here’s your chance.

Hibs biggest threat is inactivity.
They have already finished their official games and of all the candidates for promotion, they will be idle until the they meet QotS or somebody else.
Wouldn’t it be a jolly wheeze if we invited Stubbs and his first team pool to come and train with us at Lennoxtown!

Happy Birthday to all the Birthday Bhoys, Mr Z, Dharma. Ger, D.D’s son Ryan and if I’m missing anyone then Happy Birthday to the missing CQN’er as well.
If we are a seeded team does that mean we avoid NK Maribor and Shakhter Karagandy?
Kitalba –
No. In fact Legia Warsaw face Lech Poznam in a play-off for the Polish title and Celtic could face the winner in the play-off.

I think they have no ‘fear’ factor for QOTS but if they beat them – then Hibs are jittery enough to have some fear of them.
James Fowler is a better coach than the Ginger Mullet, and his team have a great GIRFUY attitude so who knows, we might be able to relax and enjoy the playoffs after the first round.
HH
I read that Stubbs has a plan to take his team to England and play some of the championship or lower division teams over the next couple of weeks to keep his team active. I don’t think Hibs will be sitting in the house waiting to see who they play…
QOTS have a good record against the huns, scores this season is 8 – 5 to QOTS…
Tom McLaughlin:
Thank god for small mercies.
As for Sunday’s team then I expect Darnell to start and at least one other youngster to get a start – enough not to disrupt the winning formula.
Yesterday, Ronny was clear – VVD is our player and we don’t want him to go anywhere, but Jason has to go back to Man City.
Therefore, we will be looking for a CB of good potential, so maybe young O’Connell will get a start alongside VVD.

Well after reading RDs comments, hearing some hopeful comments from Jason,I was looking forward to logging on today.Should have known better.
Doom and gloom.
Bye.
At last, just got a ticket for Sunday. It’s the tightest it’s been for years trying to pick one up for this game, the sheep can’t even sell-out there end and they’ve cut ours. Shite club and a shite team hopefully we sort them out for the 4th time this season.
Aberdeen in a title race lol I so they where HH

The good thing with denayer doing so well is it might get other EPL teams to send up there young stars knowing they’ll get plenty of games and proberly some European games aswell, we might not get denayer back but might get someone of equal quality hh

Hibs are going to Spain for training.
Tom
I honestly don’t know enough about Danny Wilson, or rather I haven’t seen him play enough. He certainly has other plans since he’s leaving Tynecastle, but….do they include us or Bolton/Norwich or some other Championship club. I don’t think that an EPL club would be interested in him.
hun skelper (great nomme de blog BTW)
The top six teams in England sign youngsters and put them in the reserves just to prevent their direct opposition from getting them, so sending them to us for a season is a win – win I think. If the player has ability and the right attitude then they too could raise their profile the Jason has. I’d like to think that you are right. Send your future superstars to us please.
Natknow –
Hard to tell. He could maybe excel beside better players, especially Virgil if he stays.
Danny Wilson – showing the ravages of his time in the game :o)

Correct. Loi way above Irish League.
Cliftonville Celt makes a great point. Joe Gormley is a goal scorer par excellence. He is only 24 and would improve immeasurably with full time training. Got to be worth a shout at the money we could get him for. Died in the wool Tic fan as well.
Ps I’m not his agent.
Mairtin for South Belfast. We can only live in hope.

hebcelt, I sure do know Christy’s birthday is today – I’m not at all musically talented; I like to think that him, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky nicked it all and I had just to content myself with impeccable taste in music.
There’s at least one other Jeff Buckley fan on here, I know, as they use this mighty song title as their moniker ;

I was touching cloth time but the guy came through in the end, still raging for the guys who go week in week out to all the shite games like Kilmarnock on a Monday night or dundee Inverness and the likes mid-week who won’t get a sniff of a brief.
Hibs have played deadco 5 times this season
Won 3 (twice at Ibrox)
Lost 2 once at Ibrox after going down to 10 men when
dominating in cup
Last time out I thought Hibs were very poor
and was start of 3 game loss.
They were missing leagues top scorer
Cummings who is back and banging in the goals

Great idea by way of retaliation to Huns making Murray Park available to any European team who play us. Hobs could also play Cup Finalists, Falkirk in a couple of friendlies. Falkirk have a long wait until the Cup Final against ICT and have finished their fixtures.

Just read, in the Herald, that Ronny is prepared to turn down £8 million for Virgil. It’s funny how all these so called journalists are so up to speed with football finances these days yet could not spot the Bank of Scotland at a thousand paces. One of my favourite players is Gerard Piquet of Barcelona fame. He went from being a defensive midfielder to an accomplished centre back. First I remember that was the CL final at Wembley 2009 against Manchester United, alongside Yaya Toure if I remember correctly. Anyways, I happen to believe that Gerard is one of the World greats, and he has the medals to prove it. Played well last night too. Virgil will be every bit as good as Piquet if not better, and the longer he plays at Celtic the better a player he will become. Right now I would not sell him for £25 million.
