I swear if you’d been talking in real life in the pub you’d have quickly seen you(s) weren’t disagreeing.
I would wager almost every single one of us on here has gone ‘up’ a wee touch due to our parents’ and ancestors’ sacrifice and labour. ‘Dignity’ the song, not the Klub.
Buying a house can be a huge part of that. I just want to maintain a similar opportunity for others.
GFTB I think in the right to by the the council houses was great for the people who could do it at the time, my mum and dad bought their house in the Milton, as did many others, at hugely discounted prices. None of these families could have afforded to do so any other way. But that’s where I believe the problem lies, the high cost of housing.
I’m a fan of a some form of cap on house prices and rents in the private sector too. There are some things I believe should not be left to ‘market forces’ and housing is one of those.

Roll on Sunday …. by the law of average (that’s not even a law) Brendan might lose a game at Hampden one day but got a feeling it won’t be “beautiful Sunday” 6 in the bag hopefully Sunday will bring the Henrik ….. magnifent 7 :-)

Well done to Brendan and the Bhoys for last nights win however,do not get carried away this was a very poor Rosenbourg side and we missed so many chances big Eddie for me was poor and Sparkey looked unfit. We move on to sundays league cup final which will be a much tougher game altogether we musnt be fooled by Aberdeens last game they will be up for the match wither some of us like to admit it or not we carried a few passengers last night and we cannot afford to do that on Sunday. H.H.
I can’t wait for Sunday, I think it’s going to be a cracking day out for the Bhoys. 3-0 and singing in the rain is my prediction.

Rosenborg a poor team
Carrying passengers ?
I tend to disagree … Rosenberg might not be the best don’t think they are a “poor” team and am sure even the best teams carry passengers that’s why it’s a team game and not an individual sport … we won, we have it in our own hands to have European fitba from a very decent group … but hey ho if you want to find a negative(S) they are there to be found

Had a brilliant night in Glasgow yesterday. The City Halls, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Met a few of them, lovely people. And a few Glaswegians too. A smashing time.
Missed the game obviously. But a good tidy result. Very happy for Scott Sinclair. And my hero wee Jamsie for his assist.

Hello again all you young rebels.
Just watched the game there for the first time and i thought there were so
many great individual performances, to me all the players looked up for it
but notable through there effort and total commitment were Ryan Christie
and our golden bhoy keiran, and i differ from other posts which suggest
big Tom wasn’t at his best, i thought some of his touches were sublime, but
as usual it’s a matter of opinion.

It was a Roman Festival. The life and soul of the Eternal City. Works by Donizetti, Puccini and Respighi.
Imagine yourself on the Appian Way watching the Roman Army coming back victorious after victory over the Huns or Goths or whomever.
Skip to 15 mins if you just want to hear the tickly bit at the end.
The huns couldn’t stay that gash for that long, their improvements on-field will be matched by a scoddish or “Edinburgh” interpretation of the laws of the game…..just enough to keep them in-touch and the hordes on-side.
Any historic victory in the next 3 years will be the hardest fought and hardest won of our lives.
Unflinching solidarity might see us thru it!
