Ange under severe pressure….no accounting for horrific mistake at first …goals change games

they might have, but like several clubs after covid, they did the sums and decided “old firm” sell outs do nothing for their home supporters.
—
i actually agree with them for deciding what is best for their own club.
if their owners can make it financially viable for them to cut our allocation then it really isnt any of our business.
though the other side of that is that it looks shite live on sky when the stadium is half empty.
its hardly selling our game is it? so we cant complain when we get shite tv deals!
but thats an issue for the spfl more than us

Spurs could have been three or four up at H/T. Even so at 2-0 they were heading for sixth place in the EPL and six wins in a row. Cannot blame Ange for the second half, the players brought it on themselves, and Brighton in recent seasons are no mugs so we need to give them some credit. Bad result true especially when Villa, Chelsea and the other Manchester team all lost points. Idea that that forty five minutes would cost Ange his job is for the birds.

i would disagree, thae ange interview on 909 said a very worried man.
the callers also, very disgruntled.

Yup. Pal is a big Spurs fan and he’s had enough of Plan A football with no Plan B.
Looks like the EPL is a step too far.
Ange will be lucky to last until Xmas at this rate.
Just saw a personal picture of the lad that scored against us today. Some his team mates wouldn’t be happy, given his choice of attire, but obviously he showed his professionalism and didn’t let his leanings affect him. At least we know he will try very hard against another Glasgow club.

Apparently the great Scottish Run had an affect on the ko time. They had to wait until all the StJ players had finished the half marathon.

This is the end of a week that may have restored a bit of measured objectivity in how we evaluate where we are in the football world, and I welcome it. The hyperbole surrounding our great start to the season and entertaining display in Perth has been tempered somewhat after games in Dortmund and Dingwall. There is no need for scathing criticism, just a nod to context and perspective – i.e. where we are in the football food-chain.
A few other Celtic blogs that I visit spasmodically tend to be universally super-critical on all matters Celtic: from top to bottom, from the boardroom to the pitch, much more so than on CQN, although we do have a ‘few’ permanently disgruntled contributors. People are different and see things differently of course and long may that continue; as Albert Einstein says “We must not only learn to tolerate our differences, we must welcome them as the richness and diversity which can lead to true intelligence.”
In the case of Celtic, should opinions be solely affected by the weather of the day and not by the climate of the era? We are in the most continually successful era in Celtic’s history, on and off the field, and we should enjoy it, warts and all.
Surely we are strong and intelligent enough to handle occasional shortcomings and imperfections without ‘throwing the baby out with the bathwater’? Hail Hail

aberdeens highest attendance in 6 years, i perdonally think that is a success.
—
they could have had higher attendances against other clubs but choose not to.
so it cant really be counted as a success if they manufacture which clubs they want to allow their highest attendances for 🤷🏻♂️

just like celtic do for the away support. hearts, aberdeen, thems would probably take the away allocation of 2,800, but celtic dont give them that.
i dont like that our away support has been so reduced many places, (killie in particular), but i understand why the home clubs are doing it.
it is their business,
what i dont understand is celtic season card holders buying a seat them seldom using it.
aberdeen communicating with the fanbase, telling them thier expectations and how they will achewive it.
classic change management.https://www.afc.co.uk/2023/07/24/making-pittodrie-a-fortress/
