  1. Just read this article on The Celtic Blog and look forward to the banner(s) from the ‘We Don’t care Beara’ at their game tomorrow…

    https://thecelticblog.com/2025/01/articles-and-features/patrick-stewart-did-not-offer-one-bit-of-consolation-or-hope-to-the-ibrox-fans-today/

They usually come up with some crackers, still thinking that they’re Rangers.

As JF has eluded to in previous articles, even the club they thought they had in the original Rangers, was not based on reality and could not sustain.

    😂😂😂

  2. Looking at staying in Dunfermline town centre for work on Wednesday overnight, any tips for hotels, friendly pubs,ta

  3. Love hearing all the old songs about our former players.

    Seems to cheer everybody us.

Hope this becomes a regular feature.

It is the perfect antidote to anyone who would f@ck with our happiness.

    HH. Now, then tomorrow.

  4. Good to see Johnny Kenny get a run out today, thought he made a good impact, quick on and off the ball and aways making himself available for the pass, which to be fair did not always arrive. True he could have scored, but he didnt let that bother him. Thought Idah made a lot of space for Kyogo and Adam also could have scored. Plenty naysayers out there, and in here, but then again weren’t they writing off both Yang and Engels a couple of games back? I do believe they were.

  5. As much as I can’t stand sky, it’s probably a necessary evil for the time being.

A cheap studio production gets driven lower by Boyd.

He’s straight out of the Louden and talks that way .

    Mcfadden is another story.

  6. Today was the mark of Champions – proud as punch of the management and players.

“When there’s no one complaining there’ll be days like this.

“When’ everything falls into place like the flick of a switch

Well my mama told me there’ll be days like this”

Let’ reprise at Dundee!! Hail Hail!!!

Try the East Port, decent pub

  8. BBC Sportscene commentator just said that James Brown made a great challenge for the Yang foul. I know I’m biased but watching that passage of play live straight away I thought that’s a penalty and possibly a red card. Even on replay he thought that he might have made contact! McCann then says it’s not a penalty, sold his soul to David Murray, oh dear! He got nowhere near the ball and his leg caught Yang waist height.

Now the host Thompson wonders should Johnston have been red carded. Public service broadcasting how are you? Glad I don’t pay for the tv licence, they’re stealing money.

  9. In AJ’s post game interview, he said the pitch played better than they feared.

Meanwhile, Graham Spiers takes a walk down memory road with Ch4 scribe Alex Thompson.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtdeWAcKxhs

Mr Spiers still seems to think the fact the huns were painfully phoenixed was punishment enough for their cheating their way to all those EBT-fuelled titles. Thompson disagrees but immediately pivots to the boys club abuse scandal in a whattaboutery way that intimates Scotland is sorta weird !!

As one wag on YT commented: ‘If you rob a bank and get caught you are not allowed to keep the money’

As for Boyd, a dullard who somehow managed to figure out his bitterness could be a currency that gets him attention in the increasingly cartoonish media circus.

    McPhail Bhoy on 11th January 2025 10:15 pm….

I’ve been saying this for a while. The pundits set the narrative. They sprinkle doubt and misinformation. They don’t challenge each other enough. The leave a question over most of what we (Celtic) do.

Last season, I think…McCann argued against a referee decision affecting us. It was a stupid argument. No-one else in the studio backed him up. They pointed out what the rules say. So, he ended up with, ‘well I don’t like that rule’.

People like that shouldn’t be allowed to WATCH tv, never mind be on it.

    Excellent performance today.

    Cheers,

    Weeron.

  15. spikeysauldman on

is there anyone famous out there promoting the tic as much as rod the mod ???? fantasy life – maybe not everone’s cup of tea but …..

  16. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Rod cracks me up.

Loves Celtic and couldn’t care less who knows it.

After the Edouard 3-2 game at Ibrox he hilariously announced the result, and our goalscorers, on stage at some event in Moscow !

    Guy is nuts.

PS – don’t sweat the Tory thing.

Making lots (and lots) of money is a sure way of curing a person of their socialism (effective against all strains)

  17. !!BADA BING!! on 12TH JANUARY 2025 1:30 AM

Rod Stewart is the best salesman Celtic have ever had, park the politics

    —————

    Absolutely spot-on Bada.

Politics aside, he’s the best marketing tool Celtic could hope for and a worldwide one at that.

If we only keep and entertain the company of people who agree with our views and politics, then we are no better than the Huns.

Embrace the difference of opinions and those that challenge us and our views. Otherwise, we may just meet the definition of bigots.

    Bigot:

A person who is intolerant or hateful toward people whose race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation etc., is different from the person’s own.

A person who is intolerant of ideas other than his or her own, especially on religion, politics or race.
