From claiming to be “going for 55” a few years ago to today’s “going at 55”.

    How the shighty have fallen.

  2. Guys,

Hsve you been at Paradise in recent games ?

We are lucky to have had 20,000 in the ground when the full time whistle has gone.

Its fine slagging them, but lets ponder first.

  3. Can’t see St. Johnstone taking anything today, especially given who the officials are…

    Video Assistant Referee: Andrew Dallas

    Assistant Referee 1: Dougie Potter

    Fourth Official: Colin Whyte

    Assistant VAR Official: Alan Mulvanny

I think they are getting an allocation.

Sometimes we need to slightly change the narrative . Masters of the Universe have done this many times as have cartoons in general.

The huns took soooooo much offence when Kirsty McCabe called ibrox Castle Greyskull. They flooded the BBC with complaints.

It seemed very apt and it described the Victorian lavy to a tee. It just sounds perfect for the place. Every time I drive by it i think of Greyskull as its sooooo ugly.

Since then , its been Greyskull for me and numerous other Celtic fans. Indeed fans of all other teams.

From the Celtic Wiki ” Kirsty, who graduated with a first-class honours degree in geophysics from Edinburgh University, joined the BBC in September 2003. Prior to that she worked for three months as an intern at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre in Maryland.

Celtic disowned an official history of their 2001 treble-winning season partly due to a reference to Castle Greyskull which they knew would be offensive to their Old Firm rivals”

Thats good enough for me. Greyskull it is.

    Cheers and HH.

  7. I would tell them you will get a small allocation in 2 yrs when you prove our staff and players are safe when going to ibrox, nothing before that.

  8. We slag them, then welcome them to our ground.

Even after all the well documented incidents. Vandalism, sectarianism, hooliganism etc.

Not to mention inconvenience and crushing issues.

Lots of valid grounds to tell them to f@ ck off.

We complain that our fans cannot get to games then we kick our fans who previously purchased the tickets in the teeth.

If we w’ont look after our own fans, then who will ?

No huns in Paradise. We don’t need them and we certainly don’t want them.

    HH.

  9. ADVICE NEEDED…

I have bought a New 65 inch SAMSUNG Smart TV.

It will be delivered later this week.

I have noticed that there are SAMSUNG SOUND BARS available also from £99.99 ?

Should I also buy a SOUND BAR ?

If I do, is a SOUND BAR worth the money ?

If I do buy one, does it need to be connected to a USB Port on the TV ?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    HH.

Good result yesterday , and a fairly good performance from the team . I still think there is room for improvement that some more quality being brought in would fix . Still We are in a super position which had it not been for a totally woeful performance in the derby The table would look even more pleasing , in this window I would love to see us adding some steel to our midfield ,a fault I believe contributed to our said woeful performance , we were bullied all over the park ,raskin squaring up to cal Mac at the end ,anyone think he would have did that if Broonie was still playing. Or a Roy Aitken , or a Davy hay . No chance . We have superior players to them but sticking the boot into them is a leveller , there’s my thoughts anyway .

    ===========

Calmac had already been booked by that point

The scrotum that is raskin was trying to engineer a reactio to get him sent off

Calmac did the right thing and saw thru it by laughing at him

Any reaction from calmac would have saw him booked and sent off

This is proven by raskin asking in his apres game interview, why was calmac not booked and sent off

The more concerning thing for me is why not one of our players came across and pushed raskin out the road of calmac

Particularly when he grabbed a handful of shirt (to try and get that reaction)

  11. Jimmy a sound bar is a must if you ask me and a simple small connector is supplied and fits into the tv. I purchased a Bose sound bar for 250 and it was the one of my best investments ever.

Happy new year to you and yours 🤝

  13. Big Jimmy, I agree with Maestro that a soundbar is a massive upgrade on the sound you’ll get from the TV itself. TVs are so slim now that there’s no real space for decent speakers. 99 for a Samsung soundbar should be money well spent although you could splash more if you fancied it.

Good luck, I have a 50 inch set but would love a 65!

  15. Big Jimmy – Thing about modern LCD TVs they’re built so compact there often isn’t much room for components such as sound enhancers and speakers. It’s a fairly common criticism of LCDs (I see Glasgowbhoy made the same point).

If you read any review sites such as TechRadar, Tom’s Hardware, What HI-Fi, Trusted Reviews etc. they all say

the LCD is wasted without a soundbar, but it’s worth bearing in mind they’re tech geeks.

What you might want to do is put your model number into google followed by “reviews”, for example “Samsung Q80D reviews”. Each review normally breaks it down by picture quality, features, sound quality etc. it’ll give you an idea of the quality of your built-in speakers/components and whether those geeks feel your TV would benefit from a soundbar.
