Disappointing 0-0 first half. Too many square and backward passes and not enough movement upfront.
Midfield has been ponderous and lacking in imagination. Balls being fired at the static forwards rather than spaces behind the packed defence.
Can only get better second half . RC could only score from a set piece so playing in their half with a bit more pace and invention should see a few more chances created.
Tippy tappy football will not work against this team get the baw intae the box and shoot on sight ffs we have no clue how to break down packed defences…..they will not cope with up and under Garyowen type football

Wee bit of a yawn fest 1st half. Lots of possession, little penetration, RC keeper not worked enough. Celtic seem somewhat lethargic. A bit more effort required 2nd half.
Surprised at how poor Mathews has been. All in all, poor pitch, poor performance and poor game.
My prediction is on point!

Very difficult for Celtic today. RC have literally put ten players within forty yards of their goal and are making no attempt to play football at all.
Tactics like these would get football stopped.
Having said that, we need to be a bit more adventurous. Guidetti, Griffiths, and Commons need to be more direct. They players are up against will not cope with direct runs straight at them…
Usual problem of trying to penetrate a packed defence, not helped by a narrow pitch and a low tempo game by Celtic. Attacks nearly always break down when KC gets the ball.Poor crosses from both flanks.
All the intricate passing up front seems to break down each time and just wastes energy. Maybe a few shots from distance now and then would pay off.

We are far to pedestrian we need to up the tempo to beat this packed defence.We are still suffering for the want of a creative midfielder. If we keep playing at this walking pace Ross County could catch us out on the break. Come on Rony sort it out. H.H.

Unlike many on here, I do not have the expertise to say what we should or should not do but our brand of football is no well served by small, bumpy pitches . We might well need dead ball situations to score here but an early one could result in Wee George`s 3-0 prediction becoming accurate.
