we have to convert more of the multitude of chances that we create, can anyone explain the value that CG brings to our team as I struggle to find anything.
I think its because he is a celtic player , picked by brendan (in who i trust).

First Half thoughts
ok performance so far against stodgy opponents, we have looked comfortable throughout, if not inspired.
the ‘away songbook’ has been bleak – cringing at times listening to some of the stuff. Lot of drinking time en route to DIngwall I suppose….
Hoping for 3 points and no injuries in the second half.

Ross County are no mugs. They would give our team from Sunday a tough game. Brendan might have to introduce a few subs to give them something else to think about.
HT 1-0. Great start. Wonderful passing, pressing and interchanging.
Unfortunately we haven’t been able to increase our lead and County have dragged themselves back into match.

I think we are trying a bit too hard in the final third.
A wee bit of composure and less wee flicks and dummies might bear fruit.

Too many similar players, like Christie, Henderson and Armstrong to provide the variety we need.

Celtic started brightly got the early goal but Ross County gained confidence the longer the first half went, without us adding and several fringe players not showing at all.
Shades of the last game in the highlands and Celtic need to increase the conversion rate to secure the points, this time because the home side have everything to lose and will push for a goal.

I think we need to be a bit more direct at times. Too many passes in that last third ,trying to thread the ball through a forest of Ross C. legs.
One goal is not enough, given Mr. Muir’s obvious agenda so far. For a guy that couldn’t see Meekings obvious handball in the SC semi, he now seems to be giving fouls against Celtic players that nobody else can see.
He can’t seem to see his watch either. I wonder if he would have played 2 and a half minutes added time instead of one if Celtic had been up the other end.
As the match went on our midfield became less effective, particularly Christie who I like, and McGregor who not for the first time seems to have drifted out of the game.
Lovely evening here in Dingwall. Bumped into Hamiltontim in the queue to get in – for the CQN 6s tomorrow he’s declared himself fit.
Will be interesting to see how it goes with Andy Lynch playing.

Ridiculous to blame Christian Gambia for Barca. He was thrown in st the deep end. Brendan got team selection and tactics horribly wrong. Simple as that. We put it behind us and we move on. Brendan has got a whole lot right before, and since. Shit happens. We move on.
