GOALKEEPER Ross Doohan has returned to Celtic after his Morton loan deal ended.
The Scotland Under-21 shotstopper arrived at Cappielow in August, but didn’t make a single appearance for the Championship side.
Boss Jim Duffy is now searching for back-up for regular Derek Gaston with Jamie McGowan out with a dislocated shoulder.
He said: “Celtic are keen to have Ross back, so St Mirren was his last game involvement with us. He goes with our best wishes for the future.
“The goalkeeper position has been something we’ve been looking at for a number of weeks now since Jamie got injured.
“So far we haven’t found anyone suitable and will keep looking.”
