You and I both like to see new signings introduced but it would be an enormous gamble to throw Derk Boerrigter into the fray tonight. The player is unlikely to have trained with his new teammates, will know little about Celtic’s systems, and while Neil Lennon will have watched Derk many times, the real discovery period will be in the weeks to come. A place on the bench for Derk will be fine.
I’ve been a bit confused by the Moh Bangura debate; can we really care that much if he plays, I mean, we’re not talking about a guy who scored as many goals for us as Daryl Murphy here. The discourse sounds not dissimilar to some of the ways Jock Stein would manipulate events ahead of a game. Put the opponent on the back foot from the off, cover all bases.
Key players for Celtic tonight, as always when it comes to Europe, will be Georgios Samaras and Kris Commons. They have the maturity and guile to know how to deliver, but our defence will need to be alert to what will be the superior fitness of the Elfsborg players, especially late in the game.

Don’t know if some of you chaps referring to a comparison between Doyle and Sutton are alluding to a post I wrote which mentioned the two players. IF so I would suggest you read the post, think about the post and ask if it was a comparison of the two players.
I didn’t bother explaining it for the bold Kojo but for those who are getting half a picture I will….
the point was Kojo claiming as WOlves were happy to punt Doyle they must think he’s no good. I pointed out that Chelsea were happy to punt Sutton and if one follows the Kojo logic you might have to reach the conclusion that he would have thought the same re big Chris when he joined the Hoops.
So, no comparison of the two players – perhaps a comparison of their situations at one stage of their career, but I am certainly not suggesting Doyle is anything like the player Sutton was. I still think Doyle is a good player though. I thought Hooper was good, but that doesn’t mean I think he’s like Stevie Chalmers or Bobby Lennox or Brian McClair.
Hopefully we can all un-twist our knickers now…….

I have Celtic TV, and am based in Dubai.
Celtic TV works exactly the same when I am in other countries, and I use their local networks or free wi-fi (e.g. in USA, Singapore, etc.)
If I am using a UK proxy server (via my work) or I am physically in the UK using a UK server or Wi-Fi location, then live transmissions will not work.
