Georgios is hugely important to Celtic on Champions League duty. His presence and experience is crucial, but his ability to hold the ball up, often the subject of frustration for some in SPL games, is fundamental to Celtic’s chances of playing at this level.
Georgios Samaras hamstring injury, coming late in the first half against Kilmarnock, is a carbon copy of the injury he picked up late in the first half against Berwick Rangers two years ago this month. Hamstrings mostly to go early in games, or early in the second half, before players muscles are properly warmed and stretched. It is unusual for a player to get well into a game, when limbs should be stretched, before picking up this kind of injury. Time for a rethink of the player’s preparations on cold days.
I only saw around 10 minutes of the Scottish Cup tie at Tannadaice this afternoon but was unfortunate to witness Ian Black twice make an offensive hand gesture, once apparently aimed at the Dundee United support. If he was wearing green I’m sure he would be dealt with.

There is a total fud in work… 38 year old yellow belt… Crowing about winning a fight today.
Japanese or Korean … He’s the Charles green of my work
pedrocaravan,
johnnycoatbridgerussell..
A wee bit more info.
He had table at Ayebrokes for years .
This season the table costs £170 + vat per head.
He say’s ” deduct £17 for a match ticket ” and do the maths on what the food and beverage breakdown is.
In previous years it was an assorted menu with a great choice and selection of wines spirits and complimentary champagne.
This season they have a set menu,no champers ,and twice have been served small portions of fish n chips .
He complained an asked for a supervisor to come and see him.
Nobody came.
He say’s “Green has had me double blackballed, because I’m Bombers pal.”
He believes Green will rip off the fans and fill his pockets.
I could barely keep my mouth shut and wanted to say “No shit Einstein .”
He has given up his hospitality table ,and say’s he can’t bare to watch this 3rd vision shit.
Just how him and Bomber were going to turn there fortunes around is a complete mystery.
They deserve all they get.

Black is probably their highest paid player. I am thinking he is High a lot of the time. :D
Sevco is a total shambles and as one of CQN’s finest ever posters said, when the Big Hoose is demolished that is when the Hun is defeated.

Tricoloured Ribbon.
He was the main backer within a syndicate .

Tr. Nephew plays for antonine 16s. A reaally fantastic skilful group of players. I enjoy watching them all. They could all be pro. Youth. They are that good.
But. The local rivalry around duntocher the drum and clydebank consumes the parents. Not healthy.
Being from the port I dont understand this.
Greenock is pish.
Petec @ 01:00
Sat next to Gary McKay ( total gent ) at last years semi @ Hampden. The seats were directly behind the Hearts family section, by in large all decent folks……then there was black’s posse. Should have realised there and then he was going to sign for thems.

I’ve been standing next to Darren Jackson when the Dumbarton youngsters have been playing Alloa.

You do realise, that’s a helluva big ask……but I’m totally with you.
Dumbarton,The Vale and The Renton? Saint Stivs. You can take yer choice bud.Possibly avoid McKenzies in Alexandria.Apart from that you’ll be safe anywhere.
Great posts tonight–loads of traditional music–just as I like it. One of my friends, and I smile whenever I think of him, was Sean Maguire, who was idolised in Russia, of all places. My big regret in life was, because of school commitments, not being able to go to Russia with him in the late Gorbachov years. He was the most mischieveous man I’ve ever met, and I’ve met a few. His partner, long before that term entered the language, was Josephine Keegan, who lived with him for years and was a wonderful piano player. CQN is an addiction for things like this.

Dinnae worry I will drop even more perceived obscure stuff in the meantime.
St Stivs,Sorry.
Clydebank.Duntocher and Drumchapel have always had intense rivalry.
Clydebank is naturally Clydebank.Duntocher, despite what people think is a village outside Clydebank and Drumchapel is just inside the Glasgow boundary.Three different areas and the rivalry is absolutely intense.

Jackie had Partick Thistle fans very excited.
His Dad was forced out of Celtic because he was starting a Union for the players, according to my workmate.
