FORMER Celtic defender Mark Wilson is interesting Same Old Alloa as they search for a new manager.
Jack Ross took charge of the team for the last time during the 4-2 win over Bala Town in the Irn Bru Cup yesterday. He will take over from sacked Alex Rae at Championship outfit St Mirren tomorrow.
Wilson had a spell coaching at the part-time Recreation Park club last year when he took charge of the Under-20s during fellow ex-Celt Barry Smith’s reign as boss.
The 32-year-old, who also played for Dundee United and Bristol City, has been out of the game since quitting Dumbarton in June 2015.
However, he could now be in line for a shock recall at the First Division side.
Wilson signed for the Hoops in a £500,000 deal from Tannadice in January 2016 and was released six years later.
