Scottish Premiership football returned to form last night with a Newco handball inside their box passing without punishment. Straight back into the same old Scotland, a society drunk on a lack of oversight or accountability.
Not that the outcome was ever open, our lead at the top of the table was cut to six points ahead of the trip to Pittodrie tomorrow.
Fresh from the sunshine in Sydney, Portugal and for some, Qatar, the North Sea will blow through the Celtic players tomorrow. It will be an as unwelcoming environment as you could face as you try to re-establish the form of five weeks ago. I hope we get the pre-match and halftime routines right. First game back after a layoff in such a cold spell is hamstring injury heaven.
Jim Goodwin has Aberdeen back punching their weight after a few decades in the wilderness. They are third in the table and one of only three clubs with a positive goal difference. They have done a lot more cold-weather training than Celtic over the last month and fancy their chances. On paper, this is one of our most difficult remaining games of the season. A big performance, please, Celtic.

A few years ago we used to have to navigate past self appointed grammar monitors.
Just watched ‘The Banshees of Inisherin”……….ooft what a movie
Watching Birmingham City v Reading
3 standouts for me
1) John Ruddy…goalkeeper (remember him at Motherwell) some great saves to keep a clean sheet for Birmingham so far
2) Tom Ince Reading. Always liked him and an attacking threat. (Always hated his faither. A narcissistic arsehole.
Best player on the park though is Hannibal, left mid for Birmingham, fast and skillful
Ye canny shove yer grammar aff a bus …🙈

GLENDALYSTONSILS
He certainly fond of skinning his opponents
The Banshees Of Inisherin.Must agree. An absolute diamond of a film.
I know this young Hibs striker is back playing football after being out with a long term injury,is Nisbett his name ,if GG is to be punted then this young striker at Hibs should Celtic be looking at him ,I personally rate him.

Ben Doak doing well in the Liverpool first team. Maybe our academy isn’t doing that badly at producting talent.
Productering
in case anyone noticed

I was shouting out for Celtic to sign Kevin Nisbet when he was scoring for fun at Dunfermline.
He’s Celtic daft as well.
I see spelling and grammatical errors on CQN every day, some of them my own, and never mention them. The difference this time is, it was Ernie.
Work it out.
celtic board stand up against the sfa dont be daft , our lot will just have to suck it up and sit quiet like the nice wee boys they are , how many times a season are we fans on here girning about decisions going against celtic , its continual . jeezo we stood in hampden a few years ago vs inverness and watched as 48 thousand of us were told who were the bosses and they would do as they liked, cheating us out of a treble into the bargain in the most blatent circumstances, two of the culprits that day were in charge of var at our game a few weeks ago . we also have to put up with a former ibrox debencher holder, a guy who teaches young rangers players , and another who frequents loyalist pubs , add on another couple who crap themselves anyone finds out they went to a school that started with an ST it would make you sick . add in the pearl of in rangers games instead of sending rangers players off for mis demeanors allowing them to remain with 11 players on the park ONLY to deal with them after the game , and it was allowed to continue on many occasions if there team were under pressure , take the cup semi last season sevco had two players who should have been sent off twice each but remained to complete the job . the same goes for the laptop loyal each and everyone of us complain about the treatment the club receives from them , not to mention the sevco kick off on bbc sevcoscene , or the sevco ledgends on bbc radio scotland . how the licence payers put up with that is a mystery . and why is it still going on after all the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the clubs hierchy aye they fairly set about the sfa , they have done little of any note to challenge the cancer in scottish football , the only result of note was the bunnet , someday a challenge will have to be mounted whether its someone present growing a set or a guy with a backbone coming into the club .
5 way agreement
Was it not an agreement between 5 parties?
SFA
SPL
SFL
Newco ( Sevco)
Oldco
Why would Celtic be included?
TOM MCLAUGHLIN @ 10:20 PM,
Gotcha…
… you are Two-Ton Ted from Teddington and I claim my five pounds
Hail Hail
BIGBHOY @ 10:40 PM,
Yes, exactly, that was who the signatories to secret compromise agreement.
Hail Hail
Ernie,
Consider the following scenario playing out over and over
Post match interviewer:
“There was a moment of controversy when you had what looked like a decent penalty claim that didn’t go to VAR.
What was your take on that Ange?”
Ange:
“Look, we don’t get involved in things we can’t control. We focus on things we can control like our performance. Which was good today and won us the game”
And you know I don’t comment on specific refereeing performances. That’s not my job.
More generally though, if you have a situation where 75% of Grade One officials support just 1 of 42 senior clubs – that doesn’t feel healthy for the game in Scotland”
Then Ange shuts down that chat despite being pressed.
A few things would happen.
The media would run with it however reluctantly
75% quote would get repeated all over cyberspace.
Rent-a-huns would lambast Celtic … they wouldn’t be able to help themselves … and give it oxygen.
Eventually (and it would be eventually) the dam bursts and some SFA brogue and blazer wearer comments on it.
“That statement is incorrect”
Cat is out of the bag.
Counter as follows
“So you have correct data?
What is the correct figure?
How do you know?
How long have you known?
And it takes on a whole new life.
Hello again all you young rebels
From a beautiful sunny and expected 24 degs Melbourne
rebel town.
Feel a bit disappointed this morning, there’s a big reb fest
tonight along the coast in McDaids bar at Rosebud, and
we’ve already made alternative arrangements with friends.
Never mind I’ll savour tomorrows day in the Dub all the
more.
Some of our CSC are doing both days, omg, the Guinness
will be pouring oot the doors 🤣
Seen the hun got away with another one, no surprise, we
know and expect it, we keep going, we don’t stop.

Now that the FIFA moneymaking distraction is nearly over….France to win….we’re up against Aberdung…can’t see us dropping any points. I hate that our closest rivals the new team playing out of Ibrokes calling themselves The Rangers…and that most Celtic Bhlogs are buying into the Old Firm model ( Consciously or otherwise )..but here we are. 3 points a must later (no pressure) Bhoys. Make us proud ;-))
H.H.
Probs just jinxed France 🤣

No jinx – Argentina will win but it should be a great finale
.
More importantly for me is a a Celtic win in Aiberdeen 🍀
My friends in Celtic,
Why would Celtic want to comment on the hun game. ?
Who’s to say Celtic players and officials even watched their game.
Why would we even want to go there ?
Imo, our full focus should be on own own game and our travel arrangements to a very baltic granite city.
HH.
Watching the box an old friend appeared. The Sky meteorologist Kirsty Greyskull McCabe.
PS : Is it Grey or Gray.?

Well said fella Celt. More of this would not go amiss on this sainted blog 🍀
Why are wage details of our players suddenly appearing in the press, check videocelts for an in the know reporter, the leak is back and big-time think the period none of this stuff was in the public domain is over , is it coincidence or due to board changes, agents ,players mouthing take your pick. Not good for harmony.
Massive game today for Celtic and Ange.
The start of a new era with a new chairman too.
Hopefully the new chairman can deliver the same period of domestic success as he did as COO and CEO.
Apologies of course Re the new chairman, he won’t deliver it but can facilitate it happening.
If you can confer 54 league titles to a 10 year old club, including those “won” while cheating by fielding improperly registered players for a decade, and have to listen really hard to hear any hint of a complaint from the clubs who were the victims of that cheating, then how ridiculously easy must it be to pockle the VAR system for your own ends?
Good morning Timland from a back to normal wet, wet, wet Garngad
Out for breakie, some shopping with she who must be obeyed then pub for game. What’s not to like. Well the shopping bit probably.🤯
