CELTIC have been alerted to the fact that Boca Juniors WILL sell Marcelo Saracchi.
The Uruguayan international left-back has been impressive during his season-long loan spell at the champions after arriving from the Argentine giants in late August.
The Hoops are short of cover for Kieran Tierney and Saracchi did a superb job throughout the campaign when he stepped up.
Saracchi returned to his parent club earlier this week, but media reports suggest he has no future with Boca who are willing to part company with the 28-year-old 11 times-capped defender.

ON THE BALL…the impressive Marcelo Saracchi in one of his 27 appearances for Celtic.
The Argentinian league season runs until December 13 2026, but it remains to be seen if the experienced player will be involved.
It is reported his club would prefer to sell him to a European team instead of one of their South American rivals.
A return for the determined back-four performer would appeal to Celtic fans who applauded his all-action, aggressive style of play during his 27 first-team appearances which included 10 starts.
Saracchi also scored a crucial goal in the 2-1 Premiership victory over Livingston at Parkhead on February 11 on the evening Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain swept in the stoppage-time winner on his Hoops debut.
