How do you manage to get the starting line up so early?
That’s our strongest 18 fit players and pretty hard to argue with the starting 11, particularly with Bitton’s recent performances. Would be nice for a change if we get a goal in the first 30 and another around the half time mark and then just reeeeeelax…

so neither turnbull nor ntcham should be starting the game?
again we are going into a euro game with a lightweight team who could get pushed about no bother
i honestly give up
ntcham is the best midfielder in scotland
and turnbull has been signed for a decent amount of cash, is a big guy who can look after himself and played really well at the weekend
i think the manager is now giving it the ‘i pick the team and i dont care what anyone says’ routine
hopefully our abiliity gets us through but it will be despite the team selection and not because of it

Was thinking exactly the same, wee runt. Also noticed (as usual) how they concentrated on the Sevco game more than ours and put it first. Ryan Kent is the new Maradona you know……seriously hope they get pumped rotten tonight….
I don’t know why he doesn’t pick the same team that everyone is crying out to be fielded.

Just as well we’ve got a good team of players selected by him or , otherwise, his team selections would be killing us.

Getting more frustrated by the minute that despite a myriad of subscriptions to watch Celtic, I can’t watch an away game.
Decisions – tine in to the radio/cqn ‘live’ or wait until 10pm and watch a full replay on Celtic TV.
Think we will struggle in the middle of the park.
the SB / CMcG / RC mix has been — in the main — poor so far.
Hopefully SB comes onto a game.
CMcG keeps his shooting boots on.
RC does the basics and not his Hollywood act.
We have more than enough talent to make this pretty straightforward.
What we are missing is belief and focus to see the opposition for who they are and not who they could be.
SPL blinkers — Hame ‘i dae me attitude — is our only enemy.
The other 11 players on the park are just the opposition.

C’mon the HOOPS.
How the hell does anyone know, before the team sets foot on the park, that they lack belief and focus? Or what their opinions are of the opposition? Or if they are shared by all squad members uniformly?
Barkas: Decidedly dodgy;
Bitton: Far too casual,never a defender;
Duffy: Not match fit and makes too many mistakes;
Ajer: All over the place;
Taylor: Good God !
Brown: Too old;
McGregor; OK at times;
Frimpong: Brilliant;
Christie: Big-headed and wants away;
Elyounoussi: Hot and cold;
Edouard: Not interested.
Prediction: 0-4.
Edouard (3) ;Duffy.
Those who have it try Arena 5 sports, foreign commentary though 7 pm start.
Lazio and rennes in the champions league group stages.
We are not.
We may not even make the Europa league group stages.
I think this is going to be a tense night.
