Wouldn’t have bothered me had we been put out, apart from the fact we’re a team that needs confidence and win in Europe helps that, we have absolutely nothing to gain in Europe this season, and to much to lose domestically
It was keystone cops stuff chasing after punts up the park which we didnt win, coaching, doesnt look any evidence of any system. A good team would have had composure get players into position and pick them off.

Was anyone else getting as annoyed as me with the commentators reference to Elhameeeeeeeed. When did he replace Elham-ed? 3 or 4 decent performers tonight, if ‘not making a mistake’ counts as decent.

We were honking tonight against a team of cluggers who had nothing going for them apart from our mistakes.
The whole team has given up — going through the motions.
Apart from Young JF it was stodge central by a team with no focus.
We play without heart / without passion.
Up against a very ordinary team who played with a plan.
We played the game like a pre-season bounce game.
Also the ref was shocking — following the ball and always getting in the road.
Only saw 2nd half and thought we were in total control
Apart from last 5/6 mins when Sarajevo tried to apply some pressure
Didn’t think we had a standout player but neither did we have any real failures.
Great to be through.
One game to play against St Johnson, then the ‘International break’, then the Huns.
We’ve played one decent half of football all season against a team that was willing come out and give it a go.
On this form the Huns will pump us.
Get effin in there Celtic.
The players did what they are paid for, win the game.
This result is mega.
The group stages were our objective, and we have achieved that. Analysis can wait.
Europe is soooooooooooooo important this season. Maybe more so than any other year.
The Scottish league will shrink, of that there is little doubt.
A good Euro run keeps us in the limelight, attracts players, gives us pride, prestige and status.

Jeepers, I honestly don’t understand some ghuys mindsets.
We have won the last eleven trophies in Scotland, that in itself is mindblowing.
We have just qualified for Group Stage Europas, and we have won 7 & drawn 1 of our 8 games in League.
I reckon most Football fans the world over would be rather happy if their team had those stats.

Thank god thats over and we are in the group stages. But yet again, it’s the same turgid displays against rank rotten teams.
Thought SB was the only man who performed in the first half. He obviously burnt himself out trying to get his midfield to do likewise. With such poor opposition, it was a perfect opportunity to try Turnbull. How are we ever going to see how good these guys are if they don’t get a chance?
Keep hearing that we’ve done enough and we’re through and we will learn from this and that. Truth is we are learning hee haw.

The easiest thing to do is block – any Junior team can do that, Europe is now full of teams who ‘block’ and hope.

that is a very good point I had not considered, There must be leagues and teams all over europe that are worse effected than others. maybe the number of competative teams actually reduces. also when does the 3rd european competion commence.

SB struggled tonight — lost a lot of tackles and was too quick to try and flick the ball on rather than control it and do something with it.
CMcG was shocking — no energy / no bite / no focus.
Time after time he was behind the play / jogging back dreaming about something else.
RC played some football but wasted to much possession and had his Hollywood hat on again.
Good result but terrible performance.
The team had no help from the sidelines — NL is phoning it in.
