You and I have lived through dark days before, but even during the darkest time in the 90s, we faced Rangers with a collective degree of self-belief. The lack of faith among the support over the visit of Newco tomorrow is tangible, with good reason.
Bournemouth’s USA-born Mexico international right back Julián Araujo could bolster our options on that flank after his loan arrival. He will surely start tomorrow. The player has made only one appearance this season, an EFL cup defeat to Brentford, so we should temper any anticipation he will sail through the afternoon.
Before every game recently I talk about the very obvious lessons learned from the previous outing. We will surely not repeat the positional shambles deployed at Motherwell on Tuesday. The formations which faced Aberdeen and Livingston will suffice, possibly augmented by Araujo.
Against Hearts, St Mirren, Dundee United and Aberdeen, Celtic hit the woodwork at least as many times as they scored. The laws of mathematics suggests we are in for an avalanche when our flattering expected goals tally delivers what it promises. That’s about as much optimism as I can muster.

Re : MMCCARTNEY @ 6.46pm.
If that is indeed the repertoire we are ‘treated’ to, then the way is open for our mealy-mouthed politicians to offer condemnation. I won’t be holding my breath what with this being an election year etc. In an era of Spads/political advisors I suspect they will be told to keep their heids doon.

Genuine question – are you actually promoting that petition or repeatedly linking to it tongue in cheek?
🎵 Wake up Michael I think I got something to say to you
You made a world class fool out me 🎵
Win verse Sevco in the league for the first time in 18 months, – win with Wilfried ✌️
Ex Chelsea James Bell Walker joins as Chief Scout……he’s the next Whackamole after Tisdale gets hunted for this clown Nancy
Think we should spare a thought for the poor young soles lost in that dreadful fire in Switzerland.

Bada, I’m sure he’ll add to that list at Celtic, one of the world’s best destroyers of hamstrings!
Another heat shield for the Teflon Board, when Tisdale goes with Nancy, they think we’re totally stupid
The good news just keeps on coming the new loan signing doesn’t have an option to buy clause 👍 but does have a dodgy hammy.
Getting totally fkd off with this Club
Despite all the negativity on here it is impossible to find any spare tickets for Celtic end for tomorrow.
If anyone knows of any please let me know. I have St Pauli and Bayern / Celtic fans who are friends and who contacted me last minute today after trying for a few days for a ticket.
Thanks in advance. Now back to my Hail Mary’s
PS That game at Ibrox was a magnificent one. It showed the unpredictability of the fixture. I really hope we all get behind the team tomorrow for 100 minutes. Our season really could depend on it. The team will be trying 100% I am sure and every ounce of support will help us.
A few closet Huns on here really showing their colours mind you.
Obviously hoping for a win tomorrow but I can’t see it..
However, hope springs eternal…but Nancy must go as soon as possible…
The Three Amigos
Celtic Chairman Peter Lawwell commented: “We are really pleased to welcome Wilfried to Celtic. He is a Manager with a record which demonstrates the kind of football which we know Celtic supporters love to see. We will give Wilfried all our support as we look to once again bring success to our fans.
Celtic Chief Executive Michael Nicholson added:“We have been aware of Wilfried and his quality of work for some time – he was our number one candidate when we began the process of appointing a new Manager and we are delighted that he as agreed to join the club.
“I know he is hugely excited about this opportunity to be part of Celtic’s future. We will give Wilfried every support to face the challenges ahead, with our aim as always being to deliver the success for the club which our supporters deserve, this season and beyond.
Dermot Desmond Principle shareholder said: “Wilfried Nancy is an outstanding coach with a clear football philosophy and a proven ability to build teams that play with identity, intensity and purpose. Throughout our discussions, he demonstrated a strong understanding of Celtic Football Club and the values that underpin everything we stand for.
We believe Wilfried is the right person to lead the Club forward, and we are delighted to welcome him to Celtic.”

Win with Wilfried CSC ✌🏽
GM78- on to give us the Harold McMillan bollox, that ‘ we’ve had it so good….’
The 3rd wheel will be on soon as well…
Burnley…that’s a silly remark really ( about closet huns on here)
I really don’t think that’s such a big thing ,it’s just paranoia…And anyhow it obviously has no bearing on the teams performance.
Any negativity on here is caused by fans being realistic about the mess we are in at present ..
40 years ST….and plenty before that, the disconnect is bigger than before Fergus, supporters getting played, and blamed for everything, these cnts earning millions, who have no clue how to run a modern football club
A few closet Huns on here really showing their colours mind you.
≈==≈=================
Yes we know, we can see them. One of them even has a stupid petition going which his fellow huns are signing. He will get a lot of signatures if he goes to one end tomorrow

Closet huns closet board lackeys, what a place we inhabit.
I’d rather be a closet hun than a closet Tory, plenty of them on here.

Still waiting on your big plan my friend.
Or are you just one of those who sits on the side and blames others who step up.
You’ll wait, and I’m not your friend and never will be.
To think that last week at Tannadice we were only “ vile ignorant scum “
Sheesh CSC
Asking ‘How? What then?’ is the defeated rhetoric of a defeated mindset.
It is a plea for a magical, seamless, and risk-free transition, a fantasy that sidesteps the necessary, messy, and active work of forging better leadership and putting those in place who have the knowledge and the wherewithal to run a club that has 80m in the bank gathering dust.
The very fact these questions are being asked is proof enough: those who should have answers, do not.
Pay attention.
Still waiting on the big plan then from all the geniuses. Those who could do it better on here.
Ah no it’s easier to fire abuse at others in the absence of any real knowledge.
The next few years will be fun.
As for the hunterlopers. Fill your boots. The malcontents are lapping up your manipulations.
Paying £11 Million Corporation Tax on a turnover of £140 million , is beyond the pale as incompetence.
Invest it in something, anything!
And you will reduce your liability greatly.
Even duff players that can be sold later at a loss if it comes to it. (Or might work out)
Certainly spend it on the ground. (Toilets and Catering!)
Or an Indoor pitch at Lennoxtown .
But don’t hand it over to Hector unnecessarily
Best if those selling stationary stuck to selling stationary and cease with the delusions of grandeur.
Pay Attention.

To be fair when you were wanting rid of Brendan I asked you, on more than one occasion, who you had in mind for his replacements. You failed to put anyone forward. I bet you wouldn’t have suggested Wilf.

Don’t hear much about Chris Davies and that fella who was sacked by the Mighty Club Brugge these days

You surely can’t defend the recent decision made by the board to appoint this manager ?.
Simply throwing it back by saying ” still waiting on the big plan from all you geniuses ” is not really an answer.
For the record I would have appointed a cardboard cut out of George Graham…I think he/it would have garnered more points than Nancy Bhoy and also would have millions in wages…

A song for Wilf….

I also think WN’s lingo problems are making him sound tortuously tongue-tied.
But despite the clunky verbosity, he still seems sure his path is absolutely the right way – fair play to him.
And fair play to point out we’re actually still second in the league.
So for all the wailing and gnashing, we’re in touch while playing poor in a deeply uncomfy transition period.
As for any red flags, one thing did raise my eyebrows:
It was Wilf insisting he ‘wasn’t a back five guy’ a few times.
Then in Julian’s presser, our new signing said well he knows the manager plays a five-man dee-fence.
LostInTranslation CSC
PS: KTF – and I’ll settle for a draw or better.
