CELTIC will play non-league Auchinleck Talbot in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup after tonight’s fourth round draw.
The intriguing tie was presented after former Hoops hero Aiden McGeady made the ballot on BBC Scotland’s Sportscene.
The away tie against the Ayrshire minnows, who beat Dumbarton 4-0 yesterday, is due to be played on the weekend of January 17/18 2026.
The club play at Beechwood Park which holds 4,500 fans and may be switched to a bigger venue to meet the ticket demand.
Celtic have won the trophy twice in the last three years, despite blowing the chance of the club’s historic ninth treble last season when they lost to Aberdeen on penalty-kicks after a dismal 1-1 extra-time draw.
Scott Brown’s Ayr United will face Dundee United at Tannadice while Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline take on his former club Hibs at East End Park.
Mark Wilson’s Partick Thistle are at home to Montrose.
