SCOTTISH CUP LIVE: CELTIC’S SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER

0

CELTIC’S Scottish Cup-tie against Partick Thistle at Firhill on Saturday January 18 will be beamed live by satellite subscription channel Premier Sports.

The holders’ introduction to this season’s tournament will have a 5.30pm kick-off ensuring some Saturday Night Football Fever in Maryhill after the turn of the year.

Neil Lennon’s men are seeking their fourth successive triumph in the national competition as they attempt yet another clean sweep of domestic silverware.

Coincidentally, this will be the Hoops’ second meeting in a Cup encounter this season with the Championship club after hammering the Jags 5-0 in the Betfred League Cup quarter-final at Parkhead in September.

The Hoops take on Steven Gerrard’s outfit in the silverware shoot-out at Hampden on Sunday as they zero in one their TENTH honour on the trot.

The match at Firhill will be the team’s first outing in 2020 after the winter break. They bring down the curtain on 2019 with a Premiership confrontation with their Glasgow neighbours at Parkhead on Sunday, December 29.
