THE draw for the Scottish Cup semi-finals will take place immediately after the sixth round match between Dundee United and Celtic at Tannadice on Sunday.
Sky Sports will cover the ballot live. Deacon Blue lead singer Ricky Ross will help make the draw, alongside SFA President Campbell Ogilvie and Brian McColgan from competition sponsors William Hill.
Celtic, of course, could lift the silverware on May 30 without playing a game at Parkhead. They overcame Hearts 4-0 at Tynecastle in the opening stage and followed that up with a 2-0 success over Dundee at Dens Park. Now they face a tough test at Tannadice and the semi-final and final will, of course, take place at Hampden.

Meanwhile, meant to post this earlier today…
CELTIC’S on-loan striker John Guidetti has denied holding talks with Feyenoord’s transfer chief Martin van Geel – after the Dutch club’s technical director travelled to Scotland.EL_CELTIC_INTER_2450

The Swede, a free agent at the end of the season when his Manchester City contract expires, has been linked with a return to the Eredivisie outfit, where he scored 20 goals in 23 games during a loan spell in the 2011/12 season.

And the Dutch giants are reportedly keen on bringing Guidetti to De Kuip to partner former Liverpool star Dirk Kuyt next season.

The Hoops agreed an option with the Etihad giants to buy the 22-year-old, but it is looking increasingly likely that Guidetti sees his future elsewhere now that he can walk for free.

And van Geel’s trip to Glasgow last weekend has fuelled that speculation, given his involvement in Feyenoord’s transfer policy.

But Guidetti sought to play down the Dutchman’s visit, telling Dutch TV before Celtic’s 1-0 defeat to St Johnstone: “Why was van Geel here? I’ve no idea. Maybe just to watch a fun game.”

Guidetti and his agent need to get a reality check. If the player had any sense he’d be best served taking the offer Celtic were willing to give him IF it is still available or BEFORE it is no longer on the table. The chances of him bettering it given his form seems to be decreasing with each passing week.
