Leigh Griffiths has had plenty of uncomplimentary discourse written about him this season, most of it deserved, so it should be recorded that he was the first Hibs player to return applause in the direction of Celtic fans yesterday, closely followed by his team-mates.
This is the way football should be. For too long our game has been poisoned by the unique kind of rivalry you got in Scotland. More of the same, please.
You can contribute to the 1254125 1254125 call to ensure Celtic retain our affinity with our founding cause by buying a raffle ticket for a fabulous framed Celtic top, signed by the equally-fabulous Seville squad. Do it today.
Willie Wallace had a great time signing copies of his Heart of a Lion at Waterstons in East Kilbride and Falkirk this afternoon. East Kilbride was busier but the photos of stock Falkirk (below) before and after tells you all about his day. I hear our most recent treble winning captain came alone for a book at East Kilbride.
We’re at Waterstones, Stirling, on Thursday evening for late night shopping, will confirm times tomorrow. If you can’t make it along you can still order your signed copy below.

After the Celts went up to lift the Scottish Cup
============================================
Thanks for that I hadn’t seen it.
Smoking fitba’ players?!
In the 70s a non-smoking player was a bit of a rarity!
Johann Cruyff liked a smoke.
Socrates was on 40 a day – and he was a qualified physician!
HH!!
Extended Highlights (without annoying commentary)
Paddy McCourt,
It would seem that your time with us is gone.
What a shame it is that there is no place now in our cynical game for somebody with your skills.
Today’s game wants GRAFT rather than CRAFT.
I thank you for the joy that you have given ME.

Of the 20k Hibs fans yesterday, I would bet that at least 1/3 hadn’t attended a game since last year’s final.
I know it takes two teams, and there has to be a split, but I have no time for cup final glory hunters…glory , glory to the Hibees is very apt.
—————-
I think Hibs gave 1 ticket to each season ticket holder then gave another ticket to anyone the renewed their ticket for next season, the rest went on general sale,
Paul67,
I was at East Kilbride today and bought a couple of copies. It was a pleasure to meet and shake the hand of Willie Wallace.
It was then up to Celtic Park on season book business and a browse around the superstore where I found ‘Heart of a Lion” on sale for £5 above your rrp (Waterstones charged me £4 per copy below your rrp).
Why is the superstore charging so much?

Henke and Sutton liked a smoke, maybe get our kids on the tabs if they want to make it :O0

we’ll be needing a centre back, left midfielder and forward for next season.(cant see us spending anymore that 6 million no matter how much is brought in via transfer fees)
hope a couple of the youths push on in domestic football
hail hail
Hibs season ticket holders were offerred 2 tickets as were any new ST punters who bought for next season.
Living in West Lothian I know a lot of Hibbees and generally they are good guys. Some , in fact are great guys.
I know a few Hibbies who always attended our Burgh CSC end of season party.
They attended because they have so much in common with us including a fondness for Irish tunes and a gid Swally!

the chain smoking genius that was Robert Prosinecki
truly a genius with the ball at his feet, to few of those boys left, he would have been frightening if he ever bothered to run
I might have completely missed him but one player who was conspicious by his absence yesterday was Tony Watt.
Players who were not in the final squad but who made an appearance after the game finished – all suited and booted – included McGeough, Matthews, Zaluska…
…but no sign of Tony.
Anyone confirm?
Has he been a VERY naughty bhoy right enough?!
HH!!
Wouldn’t surprise me if the guy in the pink tie was Ogilviez son out for a freebie and possibly the chance to see the hoops beaten.

He’s ugly enough?

You’ll notice his hand gesture when we got the cup if he’s a SFA official then that’s a disgrace.
Pink and orange is a bad combination , right enough.
TrinnyandSusanna CSC
Anyone got a link to this dude and the gesture I must’ve missed it

Said the same thing to my son after game. Watt was the only first team squad player (i’d assume Miku has gone already) not on the pitch after the game. Even Rogne who’s leaving was there.
This guy with the pink tie ? Did he look like he was dressed for a wedding ?
HT,
Nothing should or could replace football rivalry.
However, respect is another thing and to get it, you must give it.
It works in Liverpool.
If you look around the SPL, there is no reason why we can’t show leadership on and off the park.
They are deid, so we can ditch the chip and drag football into a new dispensation.
To do that, we have to educate our own morons too.
I expect first part of jigsaw will be an announcement in next few days of who are leaving. Miku,Rogne,Paddy, Darryl Murphy are all definites only question is will Gershon join them. It is now certain that Stokes will sign a new contract. Getting rid of loanees and out of contract players is simple but off loading lads you don’t want is not that easy. Question is apart from Bangura what contracted players does Lenny WANT to off load.

Glasgow was a great place yesterday ….the complete absence of the Hun added significantly to the experience
They usually made their presence felt even when they hadn’t made the final
Not yesterday …….

It’s a billionaire from Motherwell he pops in every now and then when he’s over there on his 75 foot yacht The Liquidator.
Just logged on and as yet havent read back . Was watching the game again , and wondered if anyone else saw the clown with the PINK tie making a complete fool of himself
Aye Kayal33 Worth a reputed 7 billion
I’ll always have a certain cameraderie with the Hibees………….having lived in Leith for a few years and frequented some of their drinking establishments I think we have a lot in common – the aulder lads in particular are cut from the same cloth…………..
As I had to watch the game via Shortie, they didn’t dwell on the positives of the match – too determined to sell our best assets and revel in conjecture of their own making with regards to the future of NFL………..
Hail Hail to the Hibeees……….

It’s maybe that well known possible Deidco pal of Craigy, Prince Rainier.
Did Craigy no say he was gonnae pump millions into the Bigotdome?
Hahaha
Kayal33
Another billionaire from the former USSR
No doubt his financial position will be beyond reproach

That club irritates me no end. 18,500 capacity with a car park underneath yet they can attract and pay players many millions of euros per season and usually win hee haw.
They are not a football club but rather a plaything for whichever Royal is in place at the time.
Tallybhoy
Tony Watt wasn’t in the Cup Final squad.
Make of that what you will. Personally, i think he is for the off!
And dont have to pay tax so screw the rest of the french league who are at last trying to tax the rich
