Celtic plan to discuss Auston Trusty’s red card on Sunday with the SFA after their appeal against the decision was rejected, but no illuminating information will be received. We need to move on and focus all efforts on the important games ahead. Nursing a grievance is no bad thing either. The players and management feel they were denied an important win by match officials. It will sharpen their appetite to get the job done.
The whole of Scottish football is waiting for Celtic to fail. The best thing to happen to the game here in the 21st century has become too successful for them to stomach. No one else is in our corner, we should expect nothing as a generation which has seen only Celtic success lets their guard down.

good answer, ta for that.
I wouldnt call it suspicion , but curiosity based on experience.
I agree that what is not normal is constrainging growth by not investing when cash rich.
I puzzle though as to why cash on hand makes it a more attractive purchase (just more pricey maybe ?)
and DD doesnt need the money.
ST- Good to see you on,I posted a few years ago, that i wondered where Celtic would be if the Brentford guys were in charge, got laughed at for days, look where we are with these incompetent clowns in charge
St.Stivs.
mmmm Acsom for portfolio advice…maybe not :-)
As you say speculation is the new make things up(repeated often enough!).i would agree with you.Folk like LT run a rolling portfolio,it will aware of projections and future Return in Investment, also Tax planning is important, all affecting their shareholding.Pruning and upscaling their holding accordingly.

I respect your constant attempts in offering balanced views on things.
Sadly on here we have many bitter and resentful people who would sooner Celtic fail than succeed. The reason being that it finally supports what they have been moaning about for the past 20 years. What makes them feel happy and ‘expert’ is to be right every few years regardless of what it does to the football club.
Happiness from sticking it to the man every few years is their oxygen. Never having actually put their own heads above the parapet they can gladly abuse others and criticise from their layers without ever having achieved anything themselves.
These folks had their little moment of glory back in the Covid season and they have a ‘wee semi’ for another this year. You see the names like Timmy and others who were more prevalent back then than when we are winning.
Itching to get on and abuse our host each day rather than actually do or saying anything really constructive.
Paul started this site to put an alternative and realistic perspective on the ‘biscuit tin’ narrative. The ‘where did the Seville money go’ and of course we all know we needed another funding round to cover it.
He highlighted continually the excesses of David Murray across the city and his prophesy came to pass.
Of course for some Celtic blog clicks from salivating malcontents come easy. In fact for most it is easy clicks to abuse those in power.
It would be funny if not so sad. 20 years of hurt coming out with each bitter little vowel.
We all know mistakes have been made by the largest shareholder and in the structure. I would love to see a successful business as dominant as our where mistakes hadn’t been made. Of course our rivals and those who want to see us down love to magnify them. And boy do our sheep like malcontents love to help them with that.
I agree that the club will never be the same again. I also think after this season there will be a seismic change in our status and it won’t be good.
Well not good for those on here who really do support Celtic and enjoy seeing them succeed on the park.
Meanwhile 24 strong teams will exit Europe tonight or tomorrow. It is very possible 70 or so decent players might be clearer that a loan move would give them a better chance of visibility pre World Cup on a European stage. If ever the time for signing players on loan was right it will be Friday until deadline. Let’s hope we get a few in.
Tonight may also affect us directly as the rangers automatic chances could be seriously damaged if Olympiakos win in Holland. Even more directly as the Huns would try to play their strongest side tomorrow at Porto (late kick off) and thus be potentially for the turnaround for trip to edinburgh on Sunday. A win allows the Huns to put a scratch team out and rest a few tomorrow.
St Stivs,
Exactly my thoughts, none of this makes any sense. But when you acquire an entity, you acquire their cash reserves. Even if you pay a bit more. Those cash reserves are not part of the share price unless I’m mistaken. A very juicy target, the complete opposite to what happens when you buy a cheap shithouse with a truckload of debt. No idea what made me think of that.
Maybe I’m bed wetting. Maybe I just don’t understand as much as I should. But it sure as hell is not normal.

This suggests Celtic shares have outperformed the benchmark (FTSE 350) over 1 month, 3 months, 1 and 5 years.

While you are on. You are usually up on these things. Do you happen to know the status of our UEFA squad as of now, given injuries, departures, loanees and returnees etc. Do we have say 23 eligible players for tomorrow night?
Bada!
Turns out that the guy in charge of marcomms for Brentford at that time was an old friend of mine. Called Greig. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions from that 😅
B78, you have more conspiracy theories than kevj.
As usual zero evidence, outed any Hunterlopers yet?
Nicholson will have his phone switched off till Tuesday
Shhhh there are some well quoted posters on here who took umbridge at Bono being linked with secret societies.

Nicholson can hand his phone in on Tuesday and collect his P45.
Hoopy the hound can take over transfer duties , should get 3 or 4 in.
TT, I’ll need a clue pal.

Agree…. there’s more to this than meets…
We have to sign Maswaniae. He brings something we don’t have and would be a great foil for ineacho cvancara or other big striker. The psychology of him signing for rangers instead would remind us of scott brown purchase. I think it would confirm the changing of the tide !!
Maswanise is exciting, quick, has a great stride , can score goals , is match fit and ready to go. He is young and will get better ! At 3-4m he would be a steal
Celtic are desperate for a player who excites the fans and brings personality to the team. There’s your man (the lad Just has been mentioned too but we need goals)
Celtic Bob,
Good to meet you. I’m far from sure that my suspicions could even be accurate, but something is not right. Of that, I am sure.
Swiss
Stebhoy, he’s 4m tall? Sign him now! 😜
Stebhoy, sorry, wasn’t being a knob. He’s benefitting from the style of play that, unbelievably, Motherwell have somehow contrived to put in place. It’s not guaranteed that he’d fit in right away. Motherwell are our best chance of either Hearts or der Hun dropping points until the end of the season. Leaving him where he is would for my money be the best option.
:-) 5’11 he’s O’Neill’s new Larsson.
Liverpool now 4-0 up on Qarabag . Sevco’s record could be in danger !
Think the first signs of the dopey old age, have caught up with MON.I mean, telling us that we have really really tried,to get players in.I mean, one minute the player is there, then 😥someone else has bought him.All so confusing. We are up against stiff competition, clubs with more money,Stoke,Norwich,Sunderland, but we are trying,I give you my word.I expect around two in.Yes for money, yes.
“Aye right Martin.Loops somebody wants me over there,Well enjoy the rest of your night”
Bodo winning 2 1 at A madrid, yes he scored
Ajax just scored a penalty to make it 1-1.
I noticed that DessyBhoy. We really could’ve done with him having a quiet game tonight and Bodo going out. As it stands Høgh is right in the spotlight and Bodo are going through, so less likely to sell a prized asset with at least another round of the CL to look forward to.
Olympiacos winning 2 1
Olympiakos win 2-1.
olympiakos won
Does that mean the huns need to beat Porto to be eligible for automatic entry to the ECL group stages?
Høgh scoring the winner in the Madrid confirms there’s no chance we’re buying him. I know he’s Danish like Hans Christian Andersen but this Board don’t believe in fairytales. Unless you believe Ross Desmond that we’re lucky to have meek Mickey as CEO…
What an ending with Benfica with the goalkeeper scoring the winner to make sure they get through deep into added time with the last touch of the ball.
M- Never a foul BTW
Bongo is a chosenite.
That’s why Bongo got to where Bongo is, plagiarising from scriptures for lyrics that make zero sense.
Not what you know. . . . . . .
Looking forward to the final few hours of being linked with, monitoring, following, eyeing, keeping tabs on, pursuing, enquiring, scouting, exploring options for, rivalling, targeting….
A thesaurus of shithousery
One day….if we try really really hard…we might get to be as big a club as Bodo Glimt…
