Celtic plan to discuss Auston Trusty’s red card on Sunday with the SFA after their appeal against the decision was rejected, but no illuminating information will be received. We need to move on and focus all efforts on the important games ahead. Nursing a grievance is no bad thing either. The players and management feel they were denied an important win by match officials. It will sharpen their appetite to get the job done.
The whole of Scottish football is waiting for Celtic to fail. The best thing to happen to the game here in the 21st century has become too successful for them to stomach. No one else is in our corner, we should expect nothing as a generation which has seen only Celtic success lets their guard down.

Excellent post
Seems like years ago we used to compete in the Champions League….just a pipe dream now….
Hogh was replaced due to injury – not sure how severe. Plan B list
Great result for Us tonight with Olympiakos win.
Huns now need to win tomorrow in Portugal where Porto will be up for it.
Even if they do win the Greeks will only need 1 point from 2 games in play off round.
Pity re Bodo if we were in for one of their guys.
Maybe get out of favour MOR back on a loan from Marseilles or Dolberg from Ajax now lol.

Think the first signs of the dopey old age, have caught up with MON.
I mean, telling us that we have really really tried,to get players in.

A Celtic legend does not align to my world view
… so, I’ll publicly speculate that his mental faculties are deteriorating.
Hmm.
An Tearmann/DessyBhoy, that still has to be determined by a draw…
Bodø OR Benfica v Real Madrid OR Inter Milan
SteBhoy, perhaps even MON’s “F list”?!

No list mate, all propaganda from the clowns, waiting on agents hawking round players on loan
The placings I saw made it real v benfica but ok if its a draw that’s fine
Dessy- not sure you can play a team you played in the group possibly?
BTB,
Trying hard with the faux outrage.Listen,no idea what age yourself and Burnley are,but both Dpey as fek.
We paid £9M for for Idah after he scored 9 in 19 on loan from Norwich, where he had scored just 17 in 116 appearances (c. 1 in 6) across 4½ seasons. (And we paid £11M for Engels, on unknown grounds!)
Kasper Høgh has scored 43 in 83 (>1 in 2) across the last 3 seasons. Surely he is worth at least as much as Idah, so we should put in a £9M offer to outbid Norwich City (with £1M more if he hits say 25 goals next season).
With Høgh and Čvančara up front we win the league.
B78:
‘Meanwhile 24 strong teams will exit Europe tonight or tomorrow. It is very possible 70 or so decent players might be clearer that a loan move would give them a better chance of visibility pre World Cup on a European stage. If ever the time for signing players on loan was right it will be Friday until deadline. Let’s hope we get a few in.’
Good point to raise. Mibby wur suits are in “not blinking first” mode.
Assuming – that is – they ken the difference between not blinking and staring like a bunny in the headlights !
Every woman every man, join the Qarabag of Love; stand up, stand uh-up! 🎵🎵
Celtic already ” Midgy raking” looking for Lucky’s.Heads in the Bins.Tomorrow night worse, cheaper players.Full on trawl.Frees,Loans,no M.O.T.s,Damaged repairables,.
Ole Bruce Springburn seems to have released a powerful track about the American shenanigans.
PR wise, imagine if every artist released a free copy of their own cover version of this ditty.
That could be world changing.

Quadro,
Springstein hates Trump with a vengeance.Probably a tad below De Niro.
TB – Indeed and Bruce is not Robinson Crusoe in that regard !
I welled up a bit, as I heard the lyrics. HH
Dexter 10.22….that made me laugh….classic
Big Chips,
We all, all of us knew that Bodo Glimt were a fantastic investment opportunity at least 18 months ago. It saddens me to think that we wasted £5M and all the “scouting time” on Balikwisha. Rented a serial loser like Nancy to potentially torpedo our whole season and cannot mend our ways. I’m a shareholder. I am not happy. I am not happy at all. There’s no time left in this window. It’s gone. We cannot win the league this year.

But I won’t hold my breath.
AIPPLE = Mrs Q and I are disquieted about our impending trip.
Is it as feral as the news footage is showing?
Like, are we at Alex Garland ‘Civil War’ level anytime soon?

FFS Quad, I know Celtic Park has been the scene of some discontent this season, but I don’t think it’s gotten quite so bad…..
Brilliant DEXTER 🤣🤣🤣

never did see him hanging about when i was grwoing up…
If we somehow manage to win tomorrow we’ll be playing Hibs H after first leg and huns A after second leg …….doesn’t get any easier
just watched bodo again
go buy the whole team. and executive.
St Stivs,
What else can I say? That has been so obvious for 2 years that it’s now becoming impossible.
Ever since they utterly trounced us under Ange, we should’ve been all over them. The most obvious moneyball team in all of Europe, and what did we do. Nothing. Nada. Rien du tout. It’s corporate hubris of the highest order.
The board are an embarrassment to our club now.
And I see no alternative other than change. It will probably never be on our terms though.

DD is from the same stable as the political crooks who are ruining Ireland.
DD plan was probably to give his shares to his son and leave him to it.
I think his son burned that bridge at the AGM.
I have feelings that we are going end up being run by shady griters like the Glaziers at Man Utd, who’ll already know that we have a weak, pretentious, virtue signalling, scaredy cat, fan base, who’ll be shafted with consumate ease.
The Celtic death knell is written all over MON’s face.
Swiss Tony on 29th January 2026 12:17 am
there is no reason for any bodo player to give up the chance to play in the Cl play offs in order to play for a euro minnow like celtic
Flynn,
I’m a shareholder but only because I inherited the shares from my father and with barely enough shares to hold my head up high here. I have speculated about how and why we find ourselves where we are. It is confounding, vexing, perplexing and otherwise impossible to comprehend that we spend so unwisely, experiment and gamble. In a position of dominance, one simply does not do it. I don’t need to quote Marcus Aurelius or SunTsu on these things to make this plain.
I was forced to watch the huns win 9 in a row. I didn’t have a choice. We were abject and the Bunnet saved us. And, Dr Jo Venglos brought a couple of the best players we have ever seen to Celtic Park. He’s an unsung hero.
Long story long, to capitulate from a position of strength takes either a plan to exit, or a stupefying level of incompetence.
My money (thanks to my Dad), is squarely on the former.
I would love to see the old stand turned into a thing of beauty, bigger even than the north stand, an edifice of crowd power unrivalled in European football. Able to proudly host finals of the champions league, World Cup events even. Sadly, we need Scotland to have investment. As has been demonstrated time and time again, we are the poor relations of the UK. London gets a new 80,000 seater Wembley, the London eye, the millennium fuckin tent at Greenwich, a new bridge, Cardiff gets the Millennium Stadium. What the actual fuck did Scotland get out of all of that investment?
Another 3-4 years in the champions league could effectively hedge against any downturn. Gaining another £100M net after player trading. Against which Celtic could construct one of the most impressive and intimidating stadiums of world football. By investing shrewdly, like Bodo, in Knutsen and his ilk.
There is still time to achieve this. However, the time for action is now, although it should’ve been two years ago.
Just my vision.
